It's a cooler that floats!! If you cannot decide between this or the rectangular one, read here.
It's a cooler that floats!! Let’s talk about it first. The quality is excellent. The drink holders are solid and hold well. The extra storage areas around the sides are perfect. And the cooler area, plenty big to hold a 12 pack, some food, and some water. Just fill it up with some ice and close the lid. The lid is solidly attached on one side with Velcro on the other. It will stay in place no problem and provides protection for your contents. If you purchase another of the Intex floating tubes you can connect this right to them with the special clips and rope that are provided. This keeps the cooler right where you want it. I used this cooler for going down the river on a recent trip. There were two coolers to choose from. This one and the much larger rectangular one. My review will focus on the good and bad points of both of these. Getting to the river with this float can be a pain if you have to walk from your trunk down there. First, the cooler is inflated, full of ice, the contents and kind of bulky to walk with. If you don’t have to walk far then you are lucky. Plus, you are probably going to have to bring everything to the river in another cooler and then put it in this one when you get there. Now, if you have a round cooler that will slide into this, great, perfect, wonderful. I didn’t. Someone on our trip had the Intex rectangular floating cooler. They did not have the lid on it. They filled their cooler at home with everything they needed, ice, drinks, etc. When we got to the river, they filled their tubes and carried the cooler to the river, and dropped the cooler into the tube. Done. I, on the other hand, took my cooler to the river, poured the contents into this floating cooler, and then I too was done. Except, I had to walk back to the trunk to put my other cooler back…extra trip. So what bonus does this have over the other? The drink holders and the storage area. You don’t get that with the rectangular cooler. Plus, it is a bit smaller, a little bit easier to maneuver, and I had no problem figuring out which cooler was mine, as nobody had one like this. One last thought. Do you have a pool? This is the perfect cooler for your pool. Let me repeat, this works great on the river if you can be a bit organized, but at home in the pool….perfect.

Great floating cooler
I got this this for a river tubing day to keep our beers and water cold. The unit took awhile to blow up but we wanted a large cooler. We managed to pack multiple six packs so the size was fabulous. The lid doesn’t quite seal, it mostly just sits on top so the ice didn’t last as long as I expected. The unit also came with a tether so we tied it to our inner tubes and didn’t have to keep track of it. Overall it was a great product and performed as anticipated.

Not the best for keeping cold beers
Very functional and water resistant. But because of the fit of the lid, ice melts very quickly because it doesn’t close all the way on the top.

Perfect for River Days. Holds Everything You Need!
The INTEX Mega Chill Inflatable Cooler was exactly what we needed for our river trip. It’s surprisingly sturdy and spacious, holding plenty of ice, drinks, and snacks without tipping over. The built-in cup holders are a great touch and kept everyone’s drinks secure while we floated down the river. I loved the durable handles, they make it easy to carry from the car to the water, and the connectors are simple to use if you want to attach it to a raft or another cooler. The removable ice chest keeps everything chilled and organized, making it super convenient for long days on the water. If you enjoy river trips or floating adventures, this cooler is a must-have. It’s practical, fun, and keeps your drinks cold while keeping everything within reach. Highly recommend!

Worth the purchase!
Value for money: This is a must have item for any sort of floating. Ice does melt quickly but we solved that with a small soft sided cooler and ice packs instead of ice. Stays cold all afternoon that way. This is very durable as well. We forgot and left it out and inflated all winter and we've just now taken it to the water and didn't even have to add air. It's worth every penny.

An ARIZONA SALT RIVER REVIEW
I had high hopes for this cooler. . . and it survived our tubing. In the end I can give no more than 3 stars. The Good: -Survived the tubing with everything intact. -I love the double handles it makes it easier to carry -I like the built in places to tie rope to it. -Easy to inflate, an air pump is not necessary (it took up less than 10 minutes to inflate by mouth) -the cup holders are nice. . . The Bad: -The cup holders do not have drains, so it is hard to keep water out of them. -The ice melted in about 30-45 minutes even in the cold Salt River.Everything stayed cool but not cold. We ended up drinking bear from our friends' cooler Keep In mind: -It may hold 30 cans as the description states, but I don't think that includes ice. -I think this cooler was a nice size if supplying 2-3 people tops. -The bottom of the cooler does not have an air pocket which makes the ice very vulnerable. Next time, I will be diligent about immediately setting it in the water once we get down to the bank. Overall it served its purpose, but it was just OKAY! Hope you find this review helpful. And BE SAFE, Arizona!

Great Pool Cooler!
We purchase a floating drink caddy every year for pool season. This has been our favorite by far. The drink holders will fit any size drink and having the center compartment for whatever else is great. Ice won't keep in the heat of the desert but we use the center to hold water shoes, water toys, sunscreen etc.

Let's go float!
High quality for floating. The cheap ones deflate. This one does not. It connects to the floating tubes which is nice! Great brand. Great cooler, functional and easy to use. Perfect size.
