I’ve had acne and rosacea since I was 10 years old and I’m 26 now. I never would of thought this little herbal serum would be the potion that would completely heal my skin- not just take care of the acne and leave me with Sahara desert flaky blotchy skin but make it look healthy. I rarely write reviews but I can’t express just in words how grateful I am to this company for creating this - my skin finally loves something. I dropped all my other skincare when I got this to give it a good chance so I dropped the chemical exfoliants my entire 8 step Korean skincare routine(that helped but I still had acne). By day 1 my skin calmed down by day 3 I saw that it was improving. I also want to note for all the acne sufferers out there reading this that wear makeup,I had been using NARS creamy concealer for coverage and other makeup products like blush and bronzers form Sephora. I decided that because this natural serum was working so well I still noticed my skin being irritated throughout the day with the makeup( makeup that per Paula’s choice beauty pedia was mostly safe if not got excellent scores). I came to the conclusion that although so many sites will tell you silicones in makeup like dimethicone are safe if not beneficial- I couldn’t deny that my skin wasn’t liking something and letting me know through acne and redness. Just how silicone breast implants are said to be safe but some people get them removed because they feel their body is being poisoned by it in some way(even if it’s not proven you have to listen to your body). So I switched to a natural makeup I found on amazon called fifth and skin(switched everything to this brand foundation concealer blush bronzer) -note I’ve tried RMS but their coconut oil base was too heavy for me. With this it’s day 7 and I don’t have a single active blemish on my skin. I kept my Paula’s choice balancing cleanser to remove makeup at night and I use the recommended dose or drops for this serum am and pm. AM I splash my face with distilled water and apply this. I also switched to a silk pillowcase. I think other products are geared towards treating and this serum was focused on healing. It’s made all the difference in my skin and if this long review helps someone out there with a similar issue than it was worth the time writing it. Acne has been a socially crippling issue in my life for so long I’ve become accustomed to avoiding mirrors and spending an hour concealing blemishes in the morning. Writing this I’m sitting here with no makeup on and being excited about the fact that I can go walk my dog without the fear of being seen without a full beat face. First, I am a very healthy woman who already has an intelligent personal care routine. I strive to keep the inside and outside balanced and healthy. I eat a proper whole food plant based diet, exercise, meditate, do Yoga, and drink plenty of water. I don't consume alcohol or sugars, smoke, eat meat, sun worship, or live unhealthy. I also have pretty good genetics being Swedish & Irish!! All that being said, this product literally did nothing! It didn't even feel great going on! I barely felt it going on and used way more than recommended in order to notice it. It didn't have any noticeable lavender scent and was tinged orange due to the Sea Buckthorn in it (pay attention to that, it stains!). As an honest reviewer, it was no better than water! I make my own personal products and do use Sea Buckthorn in my oils as well as lavender and my products feel great going on! They also actually moisturize and from what I am consistently told.....I look pretty darn good for 50!! I have tried, on occasion, different serums for fine lines or wrinkles or "youthful appearance" and most at the very least moisturize. This was pointless, for me. Perhaps if you're someone who has thirsty skin or is in desperate need of moisture and repair, this will work. But I can honestly say, there are probably products that are less expensive and get far better results!Hope that helps.....for women who want to know! :)

This is my own honest, unpaid, unsolicited review:I am a 42 female with mild (at times severe) Papulopustular Rosacea. I have typical combo skin (oily T-Zone, dry cheeks). This stuff has not only regulated my skin so that I no longer need to use a moisturizer, it also makes the rosacea a million times more manageable. Rosacea & acne sufferers need not be afraid of this being an oil. This is how I believe oil application works best to mimic your skin’s protective barrier and what certainly works best for me:Place 2-4 drops (start with 2 and work your way up as needed) of Ora’s Magic Potion in the palm of your hand. Add 5-7 sprays of your favorite distilled floral water ( I use Evan Healy Rose Otto Hydrosol or Aromatics International Roman Chamomile Hydrosol). Lightly clap hands together to mix and pat the mixture gently over face & neck.The above is preceded by washing with a nickel size of L’Bri Deep Pore Cleanser along with 1 drop of Plant Therapy Organic Lavender Fine essential oil worked in to a light lather together before applying to my face. Then the Ora’s and that’s it. The simplest routine I’ve had in years but the most effective.Bonus: my mineral makeup adheres so much better since using this product.May this company NEVER go out of business!!!

This product is way overpriced for what it is. The nighttime oil smells awful, like molding wood-not exactly the scent you want on your face. I typically make my own body butters, face oils and creams. But this year has been awful and hectic. I ran out of my homemade products, and had hoped these would work like my homemade til I had a chance to make more. For what I paid for two itty bitty travel containers of face oil, I could’ve made a quart jar at home, and it would’ve smelled a lot better. I had hoped the price equaled a super amazing product-but sadly it didn’t. My homemade products work so much better. I’m very disappointed in these. I will not ever purchase again-instead I’m just going to find time to make mine again.
