Far better than those bulky jar / bottle openers

Found it hard to use got this because my brother has one and he loves it

After years of struggling with lids; running them under hot water or hitting the lids of jars on the floor I gave in to old age and ordered this. It is one of those things that I really wonder why I struggled on so long without it. Its well made, simple to use and has become a desert island item for sure

An exact replacement for sn item that lasted years. It’s a good design and delighted to get a replacement.

Although the opener does what it's meant to do, my wife found it difficult to use initially. I found it fiddly to use, especially opening small tops.The pointed tip which is meant to pierce lids is very sharp and can draw blood. It the opener is in a drawer full of other utensils, it would be easy to hurt yourself on this tip. The tip's position on the narrow end of the opener can also hurt you when your fingers close around the narrow end.The manufacturer needs to address this as this opener is a health hazard. That's why I have given it a low overall score.

This was a great purchase. Been struggling to open bottles and jars due to arthritis. This does the job very well.

I'm getting much older now and losing strength in my hands and arms. This is a aid great for opening anything from bottles of water to great big jars of pickles and everything in between.

It replaced one where the rubber had perished. Just as good for opening jars, but the rubber is a band - not stuck on, so we shall see how long it lasts.
