Sea Doo Boat Front Storage Compartment Gas Shock Sportster Speedster 269501993

Replacement for a broken gas shock for the hood. Worked perfectly. Suggest you add two “spring” washers to hold the axels for this in place.

Very easy replacement and it keeps the compartment lid up very nicely! I probably will never need this item again, but I will recommend it to all my SeaDoo boat pals!

Easy to install and works as it should on the hatch of my SeaDoo.

Works great. Only issue is that when installing it does not have a piece to center it and keep it from moving side to side. I tried inserting original but it does not fit.

The holes on the end are more narrow than the original ones on my 2004 Sportster VTEC so the original pins would not fit all the way. I decided to drill out the holes and then it worked fine.

Had to drill holes to bigger size

Installed on my 2003 Bombardier Sportster 4tec control console cover hood. Same as original and works fine.

East to install. Replaced the dead one on the one compartment of my seadoo speedster.

The item fits a 2005 sportster Sea-Doo, but prepare to use the old ends on the stock part to fit ,holds lid up fine but no push to open ⬆️and no resistance when closing⬇️ so lid will slam unless you hold to close not happy as pricey for over $100 not confident about the longevity of this product Disappointed!!

Item as advertised and expected. Works perfectly on front storage hatch of 2006 SeaDoo boat.
