Never going back
Easily change roll with 1 hand. The little flap at the top allows you a clean edge rip but also discourages my cats from unrolling the tp all over the ground. Discourages but doesn’t prevent entirely, I will admit. I will probably always have these holders, whether this brand or another, going forward.

A cat owners must have!
Sounds strange, but I am more excited by this than I have been about any "structural" product. We have cats that love to destroy toilet paper. We have tried lots of things that took a lot of time, was incredibly inconvenient, or flat out didn't work. The cats have attacked and hung from our expensive Kohler fixture until it was coming out of the wall. Sadly this didn't cover the holes that left in our wall, but that isn't this products fault. The "lid" slants down onto the roll. It creates just enough friction that they can't spin the roll. The lid has a slight slant down so they can't sit on top of it. With the top they can't grab on and hang from it. The only time this product fails is due to human error. If my kids leave paper hanging down it is still tempting to naughty cats. Besides the wonderful purpose that this product wasn't even designed for, it works perfectly for the intended purpose. It is so easy to change the rolls that evendors my kids have actually started doing it, and they are all boys. Lol. It is made of plastic. There are some more expensive ones made of metal out there. But I didn't want a shiny finish. Looking at it, I don't think it looks plastic. Super sturdy without the weight of metal. I do think the weight of our last holder had a lot to do with it getting ripped out of the wall. I am so in love with a toilet paper holder. Never thought I would say that!

Works with most toilet paper
It works well, but our household uses Quilted northern and the rolls are a little too bulky for this. I just removed the top panel and it works fine. You just lose some of the functionality of the flat top.

Amazing
Can swap toilet paper one handed while the other is covered in crap. Only issue is narrow than standard american ones so i have two exposed holes but will cover up.

Great looking TP holder with very unique features and benefits.
Can’t believe I’m writing a review for a toilet paper holder. After looking and looking at TP holders I decided to give this baby a try. Received it promptly and it looks good with our chrome faucet and towel bar. No, it is not real chrome folks since it is plastic not metal but nonetheless it looks good. Since it is mounted on the side of the bathroom cabinet, between the faucet and towel bar, it does a great job protecting the TP from dripping hands. The roll, mega size by the way, comes on and off so easy that even I’m inclined to change it once in awhile. My wife loves that when you hold the cap down with light pressure you get the perfect tear every time. I like the fact that it hides the roll so it doesn’t seem like the most prominent item in the bathroom. It was extremely easy to mount and well, what other hyperbole can you bestow upon a TP holder.
