Fits my old car just fine.
I'm restoring a rather old 51 MG TD that was considerably modified by previous owners. It originally did not have a pressurized cooling system (one of several modification), so I was not sure what radiator cap I needed. The one on it ( rated at 9 psi) started leaking when warmed up, so I had to do something. This one fits and seems to be working great. No leaks at all.

I needed a low pressure cap for my Ford N2 tractor, it worked fine
As I said in the headline The tractor called for a low pressure cap, The new radiator came with a 26 PSI cap, so I replaced it with a STANT low PSI cap. So far it has worked fine. I'm still working on the tractor so I know more next year.

Standard replacement
Didn't work for my 1946 rebuild, but workwd great on my buddies truck so, not a total loss. If you are looking to replace a gas cap on a 1970 and above car/truck I would recommend.

Cheaper than the local parts stores
Fits my tractor with no issue and half the price of local auto stores.

Perfect Low Pres Cap for older Systems
Upgraded my old equipment to a coolant recovery system. Works great

Good quality, good price
However it did not fix my radiator. I had to go to a Mack Truck parts dealer to get the larger size that I needed. I should have asked questions first...

Hard to find 7psi to prevent issues on older vehicles
If you want a radiator cap that will reduce the potential for leaks & hose blowouts on older vehicles, this fit my radiator. Pleased with it. If your radiator uses the larger style cap and has the cap on radiator (not recovery bottle) this will probably fit. It will not fit the small style like many imports use. Just be warned 7psi will lower the coolant boiling point which may be a problem if you run over 225 degrees which i avoid if possible. I have even gotten away with running a modified cap at 0psi but that's a bad idea because on some vehicles water pump creates a vacuum on radiator hoses which can collapse them while driving and impede coolant flow, this 7psi cap ensures that will not happen.

Special low pressure cap for a special purpose
If you're one of those people who do your own mechanical work on your own vehicles, at some point you've probably dealt with tiny persistent coolant leakage. A couple of drops of antifreeze on a water neck bolt or an old radiator that is too good to scrap but has a wet spot that never goes away. Or a weak water pump that is starting to leak. Sometimes your best bet is to go to a lower pressure cap to keep your coolant where it belongs. This will give you the time you need to decide what your other options are... but it works so well most of the time you never need to do anything else!
