Good materials, color scheme is sometimes unclear
First, I think it's important to note that these arrows are *not* the same as the BSA-sold arrows you find on Scout Stuff or in the Scout Stores. To be fair, the seller does not claim they are. But the seller doesn't say they aren't, either, so just be aware. The color coding is a creative addition and offers the chance to make personalized arrows for each Scout. This is appreciated. The scheme concentrates on rank badges (Tiger-Webelos) with tape for arrow points and a band for the compass. Leave No Trace, World Conservation, and the Religious pin are also represented. Activity pins, however, are represented by up to three sets of alternating white/green tape (6 pins total), which seems odd to me as the Arrow of LIght requires *eight* activity pins. Arrow points, compass points, Emergency Preparedness, Webelos Outdoor Activity, and the Arrow of Light itself round out the scheme.Fletching tape is used instead of glue, and yes it's easier. The instructions say to apply the fletching tape to the fletching and then put the fletching onto the arrow shaft. I had better results doing the opposite - applying the tape to the shaft and then putting the fletching onto it. This is because the fletching tape is two sided with a red backing on it, and it was very difficult for me to remove the red backing if the tape was on the fletching. Note three 'feathers' per arrow. Since this is a display arrow (indeed, there is no string notch in the arrow shaft) and will be hung on a wall under a plaque, I put the three feathers 90 degrees from each other, leaving a blank where the arrow can rest against a wall. The arrowheads are outstanding! More importantly, they all fit well into the notches carved in the shafts. There is sufficient "sinew" included to secure the heads. The instructions say 36" lengths and this is enough to do a good job.Last point - construction of these can be time consuming and, I dare say, tedious. Take your time and work in batches if you are making these in any kind of volume. So I think these are good quality materials and you have enough flexibility in those materials to tailor these arrows to your Pack's operations.

A bit pricey but worth the money
Very nice arrows to make our Arrow of Light plaques. They came with all the stickers to document the Scouts accomplishments, and even a sample ceremony that was nice. A bit pricey but worth it.

Good quality for the price!
The arrowheads that come with this kit are nice quality. Definitely like the look. It seemed easy to use, unfortunately our pack decided to "go a different route," and I had to return them. My vote was to use them!

Arrow of Light Award Kits
The arrows were good and as described. I did not use the enclosed stickers for this project. I used embroidery string instead and they turned out great! I would recommend them.
