I shopped thru all 400 comforter sets. Most I did not like. This one is as nice as the picture. Champagne living on a beer bottle budget. The colors are true compared to photo. Got what I expected. I was worried how it looked in my home. Was acceptable. It needs a slightly warm iron to smooth out wrinkles in delivery/packing. The patterned section has a more substantial quality material. The taupe stripe without design stays wrinkled and does not stay smooth as in the picture but still leaves a nice impression. It was not as full and fluffy as I assumed but is toasty warm when needed. Would love to purchase 2 more pillow shams matching in this set.

Update. I have had this comforter for just over 2 months. It is already coming apart at the seams. I dont even sleep with this comforter, its folded at the foot of the bed and I sleep with the middle blanket and the sheet. I had hoped with the price, it would last a little longer than 2 months. Not cool. And there is no clear way to contact to seller to discuss issues.So I wish there was a 4.5 star option. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set. I received mine yesterday. I was SO excited that I immediately washed it so I could put it on my bed. It washed very well, there was no bleeding of colors, the stuffing did not end up in 1 corner like some brands do. I of course realized that I was 1 pillow short on my bed so I only get to use one of the shams for now. The colors are warm and inviting. The comforter is fluffy enough to be warm and cozy with out being too heavy so it will be great for summer months also. Everything seems really well made - there are no snags to speak of in the detailed stitching - there are no random threads hanging anywhere. THE ONLY THING that stopped this from getting a 5/5 is that the reviews were right. I have a standard depth mattress and the sides barely cover the mattress. Easy solution, If you have a queen - order a king size. This item does not come with sheets so the fitted sheet size is irrelevant. The bed skirt may require a little tucking but believe me - its worth it. With this, I ordered Clara Clark Premier 1800 Collection 4pc Bed Sheet Set - Queen Size, Burgundy Red and they match as tho they were made for it. They are also super soft.

The set was really pretty and the blue was a very pretty blue. Light blue but not a baby blue. I returned it because every time I pulled the blanket up on the bed it ripped on the seems. I was so disappointed when I sent it back. It appeared that the seem did not hold enough material. In other words it was sewn too close to the edge of the material.

Was leary about purchasing this based on reviews and the fact that I have a California King bed, but I absolutely love this comforter set. The price made me buy it with the thought that I could return it if I wasn't happy with it....but that was hardly the case. The price is just a bonus. California kings are 4" longer than regular kings, but 4" narrower and the length is just fine, especially for the furniture that I have. The tans may be a little lighter than the picture, but the creams and reds are dead on and all together they were perfect for my room. The material is the best part; not too light, not too heavy and just right for a comforter. The quality of the fabric is also outstanding. I washed it and let it air dry and had no problems. I have a large golden retriever who gets on the bed everynight for about 15 minutes. It has held up against him and the dog hair comes right off with a pet glove or a vacuum. The throw pillows are beautiful and top quality. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this based off of the reviews.Overall the quality would be alright for a comforter set half the price.Just go to C*stco and buy one and you will be much happier.While I dont really care about the display pillow cover, I do care about Quality. This is very low average quality material.I do not expect it will last more than a couple of times being washed before the seams start coming apart.The width is about 6" short and the comforter doesnt cover the mattress fully if it covers one side completely.Most king mattresses are tall unless you have a very budget mattress.You even it out and have a smaller portion uncovered one both sides...but you shouldn't NEED to do that.Material quality, it would be a good product at $60-$70. Quality control is just not good. Hence the threads on the pillow dust cover. See picture.Maybe yours will he better?

This set was very nice! cant go wrong here! Color matches the picture on line. Get some pillow cases to match and you are all set! A word of warning however.... they did not skimp on the comforter stuffing here... its thick and warm as it should be! I have to fold back and use a light blanket to supplement which is ok with me and keeps the comforter set clean. Love this set and its very attractive and not so busy as many of the others I looked at.

Thiscomforter is very pretty. I have a bedroom with very light gray walls and the carpet has brown in it. This comforter is not the white that appears on the picture but definitely has a cream colored background as other buyers have mentioned. Although the print leans to a light brown color it has a slight silver hue to it which looks very good with the gray walls and at the same time enhances the brown in the carpet. The stripe is definitely burgundy. The bedskirt is brown. It was hard to find a comforter to go with both colors well. This one is perfect.

Great comforter set, very pretty and warm. I was surprised to find that the entire comforter is covered in embroidery - the medallion design and the scroll work on the lighter portions of the bed is machine embroidered. The embroidery is tight and I don't anticipate it becoming a problem in the wash. I made a small mistake when ordering - I have a queen bed at a normal height from the floor, and I bought a king comforter set because reviews on here indicated that the comforter was short. I should have gone with the queen because the sides touch the floor.All in all, a very beautiful comforter set. Note that it is a bit more tan than it looks in the picture. The red is more of a deep, jewel-tone red.

My comforter arrived today. As you can see I put it on a different way. We have a very deep mattress with a 2inch topper on top of it... total almost 16"..... so queen sized comforters are NEVER big enough so I ordered the King. Because a king is so much wider, when I put it on with the stripe going lengthwise, I had way too much hanging on one side and not enough on the other without pulling it over so much the strip was no longer on the top of the bed but along the side. So I turned it so the stripes go width wise and it works much better! Of course if the patten had been floral or something I wouldn't have had to do this. When working with a pattern such as this my leway was a bit more limited. Bonus is I have lots of length now to completely cover all my high pillows etc. The one minor thing is, the top of the comforter doesn't have a brown border, which because I turned it, is now on one side but it is a minor detail that can't be seen anyways and i doubt it will bother us much while sleeping. I may have to iron some places where things aren't laying as they should due to packing but overall I think it looks nice. My comforter before was gold and red and this is much softer in hues, with a bit of a sheen. The weight is nice. Not too light, but not too heavy either. The embroidery is quite nice and seems well made. I didn't put on the bed skirt as I don't need it. Throw pillows are a nice addition. I did catch a ring on the comforter though but it didn't pull too much thankfully. It'll be something to be a bit careful about!Overall, very pleased. I didn't give a 5 star only because I rarely give 5 stars unless it's just perfect. Because I had to fiddle and improvise somewhat and the price was a bit more than I wanted to pay I gave it 4 stars

I like the general appearance, it is as shown, but it quality of the sewing is not great, it has wrinkles that take away from the general look. I liked it enough to keep it but wasn't sure I would when I first opened it. I ironed it all but could not get the wrinkles out of the design section.

Arrived a few days early. What a pleasant surprise. Absolutely Beautiful, the materials are high quality, colors are exactly as it is shown on line. The sizing is exactly as advertised.I would recommend these beautiful items

Cheap, shiny-silky polyester. Looks nothing like photo. Was expecting cloth based on photo. These cheap polyester comforters can be bought at value centers for less than $100. Very disappointing. Terrible value (Paid over $200).

The set looked to be a cream and taupe colours in the pictures but was very gold in real life. The material on the comforter was rough to touch so it would be more for decoration than snuggling under.
