Upon opening the product looks good but The top plate is thin and can be easily bent with some little force. If ur using them to just hold rods on a console while not fishing, they will work. If u use them on the gunnel in fishing application like trolling or deep dropping, look else where as these will bend out of shape if a large fish pulls on the rod.

Got four of these rod holders for the price competitors charge for two. These are well made ,great looking holders. Perfect add on for my new boat. Bonus - they come with the required attaching screws.

The rod holders look great and the rubber cap ads an important extra.The only thing I did not like very much is the welding, it looks poor, I hope the rod holders last in time.Welding process should be improved>

They're nice. Made good replacements for the factory plastic rod holders that came on my Cape Horn 17. I had to make some minor modifications to the holes the original ones were in, but its not that big a deal.

These Rod Holders are awesome ... I live in Dallas. When I return from Cabo I use to clean my rods & reels and pack them away. Now with this new rod holder system I built in my "Fish Room" I can clean them and then display them in my fish room and at least look at them if I can't fish with them.
