Great SNES Controller Copy Works Well
This snes controller copy from Hyperkin works extremely well. No trouble hooking it up, works flawlessly every time. Battery life is incredible too. If there is any lag with this being wireless, I can't tell, though it is possible there is a slight amount. I was disappointed that there's no Home button on this remote. We use it with Retron 5, so with no Home button I have to juggle to controllers, one to play and the other to get back to the system menu. This isn't a problem, just inconvenient. *Note -if using with Retron 5, this system can only connect with one wireless controller at a time, unless you use an adapter from 8BitDo, called a retro adapter. This will allow you to use two controllers wirelessly at the same time. Bottom line, great wireless controller, zero issues with it. Would purchase again! Works as advertised, with no perceptible lag
This product works exactly as advertised, both on the original SNES and on Hyperkin's SupaBoy SFC (it would be a real problem if it didn't!). There is virtually no lag (I have to say virtually, because it turns out it takes time for any signal to be received), and no perceptible lag at all in gameplay for Aladdin and Super Mario World (both of which use XYAB and shoulder buttons). It works really well and is very convenient when you want to play with small children. If this holds up over the next bit I'm ordering another one for my son. There are only two drawbacks, neither of which individually or jointly felt sufficient for me to downgrade to four stars. First: the instructions are simple and clear, but incomplete. If you follow them and do nothing else, the unit will not sync with the dongle. It may sound silly, but you need to press the small circular black button of the front of the dongle, *and then* press the sync button on the controller itself. It paired within five seconds, probably less, when I did this. But this instruction, intuitive as it may be, is not present in the instructions. Second, for an adult who doesn't have particularly large hands or fingers (in fact, they're probably slightly smaller than average), I found the controller to be very very slightly small. I just wish it was very slightly bigger. This is quite possibly due to the memory of how large the controllers felt in my hands when I was 10-12. But it's nothing unbearable. I very occasionally accidentally touch the A button when I am mashing B. In Super Mario World while riding Yoshi, that'll basically give you a jump-eject from him when you weren't expecting that. However, I discovered I was positioning my thumb a bit diagonally. Anyway, if you have larger hands, this might become a slight annoyance. Or maybe you're used to this, have adjusted accordingly, and will have no problems. In any case, it's convenient, feels great to hold and the buttons do not feel cheap. It's responsive, easy to pair, and works great! I'd recommend and will buy another as long as it holds up. Great work, Hyperkin!

Not-So-Premium
I've been a general fan of Hyperkin's offerings for over ten years at this point. When it comes to their gamepads, the last ones I bought before this were two GN6s for my Genesis/MegaDrive and, more importantly, their wireless NES controller called the Cadet. The wireless NES cadet is far and away the best NES controller I've ever used except for the original NES rectangle and dogbone controllers. Coming from that, the prospect of their SNES offering seemed good. Unfortunately, the Scout Wireless does not live up to the quality expectations set by the Cadet. The face buttons feel OK, if a little too soft. The DPad is... decent. One of the common complaints I saw on here was that the DPad has poor diagonals. The diagonals on mine were not terrible, but not flawless either. I tested using Secret of Mana, and I'd say the controller got the diagonal inputs perfect about 75 to 80 percent. That doesn't sound too bad. However, Hyperkin labels and sells this as a "premium" product for $32 US, $33 or $34 after taxes depending on where you live. For a controller of that price, these issues simply shouldn't exist. It's not a bad controller by any stretch of the definition, but it's nowhere near worth Hyperkin's asking price, especially when taking into account that there are better, less expensive offerings from other companies.

Could be a bit better
I own several classic gaming clone consoles ranging from cheap to expensive. Sometimes I like to bring one of my cheaper consoles over to a friend's house to play some games. I don't feel comfortable bringing my nicer 8bitdo controllers. I decided to buy these controllers. As far as controllers go, they work and feel great. The only thing I don't like about these is the pairing. They seem to take a lot longer than they should to pair. The pairing buttons are tiny and you need to use your fingernails in order to push the buttons on the controller and receiver. I guess I've become so spoiled with 2.4 ghz wireless controllers that I find pairing Bluetooth controllers too time consuming. Other than that, I can't complain. They're very responsive. They feel well made. The buttons and d-pad feel as good (to me) as original controllers.

Only controller I use with my snes
It’s great quality and works with my classic snes like the OG system and the new one. I have two one for me and my son. I got him playing the old consoles but we like the wireless stuff the best so this is amazing and the battery lasts for ever it seems.

It Just Works.
I bought this for my newly acquired Analogue Super NT. Wireless SNES controllers seem to be in short supply as there are few options. I'm glad this one is still available. It's a no frills 2.4ghz wireless SNES controller. There are no gimmicks like turbo or extra macro buttons. What it does have though is a more modern and ergonomic form factor which my hands appreciate. You just plug it in, pair the controller to the receiver and it just works. I don't perceive any lag. I wish they made the design to mimic the super famicom colors as well. All in all I'm very happy with this. Easy recommendation.

Just bought a Super NT
I ordered a Super NT from Analogue and bought this controller for it since the system doesn't come with one. It works great. I've had no issues. It synced easily and feels comfortable. If anyone else is in the same boat, this is a good option for a wireless SNES controller that's readily available and not overpriced.

ERGONOMÍA, CALIDAD, RESPUESTA
EXCELENTE!!!
