What's not to love about Barry M's Under the Sea nail colours? This polish is vegan, non-toxic and also very affordable compared to other posh brands. The colours are gorgeous. Jellyfish is very pretty iridescent and subtle. One sheer or 2 thin coats works for me, without a basecoat because its not a dark, staining shade, and it lasts for ages with 1-3 clear LED gel topcoats on top. (This is how I do my nails - so much faster). Regular polish can be combined in use with gel polish, AS LONG AS THE REGULAR VARISH IS PERFECTLY DRY BEFORE APPLING THE GEL over it. The gel is very tough and flexible so it doesn't chip or wear and you can build up a nice thick protective nail coat so quickly with a curing light. (1 minute to dry each topcoat)... This method dramatically cuts down the time it needs to get thoroughly cured polish. Another big advantage of using regular-drying polish underneath is that after a week of washing up bathing and washing hair I find the the colour simply falls off in one piece , like a thin fake nail, without having to faff around with filing and soaking the gel polish forever with harsh acetone, or polish remover. I find that nail polish remover really dries my nails out too, but usually I pick it off that and it leaves a rough nail surface... either way, regular nail polish by itself wears badly, but most of all takes hours to dry and properly cure after painting more than 2 coats... base + 2/colour + topcoat, I just don't have the patience and after hours of effort end up wrecking h the manicure. I need to use a polish to help protect my nails so I can play the guitar. I really love these Under the Sea shades because they are so pretty to be worn with just one sheer coat. Other polishes don't seem to last quite as long under the gel.

I bought 2 of the Under the sea range and love them. The photo is Pacific Flame and I also got jellyfish . This is just 1 coat on top of Barry M’s All in One Basecoat, Topcoat & Nail Hardener. I like just one layer as i prefer a more subtle look. This is a very pretty colour as is jellyfish which is more delicate with a hint of pink and blue. It applies very easily and dries quickly. If putting a coat of the All in one on top it must be properly fully dried! I tend to put my polish on about 30 mins before bed then there is no chance of catching it until it’s fully dried. Then I put the topcoat on in the morning as that dries really fast. Great price and speedy delivery. What’s not to like

I got the pink one, and it's so sheer, that under almost every light, it looks like light, soft gold. The pink appears rarely, which is a shame to me, as when I do manage to pick it up (usually with my fingers in an unnatural position), the rosy tint is lovely and healthy. It's a very wearable shade though, with a nice sheen and it applies easily. The worst for me however, is the very, very strong smell which made my eyes water. I never experienced such a strong chemical stink in polishes before.

This varnish is not only brilliant but so pretty. It goes on smoothly and easily thanks to the wide brush and it also touch dry in about a minute. It lasted a good week and never chipped. I used three costs which gave a gorgeous gold blue shine. I'm so happy with this that I've bought a few more colours. With such a low price you would think it would be cheap and nasty but you would be very wrong. I would definitely recommend.

I chose Butterflyfish as a shade and have not been disappointed. It is a gorgeous, iridescent shade of blue, green, pink; yes, the shade changes with the light and the angle your hand/ foot is at. I needed two coats as the shade is quite subtle, but that's ok. I used a base and top clear varnish with it and as a result, it has lasted for a few days already, without as much as a chip. Bear in mind this is Summer and my feet are uncovered all day, so this is a good, shock and wear resistant nail varnish. I have had compliments on this lovely, whimsical shade. Think fairies, mermaids, rainbows, butterflies and unicorns; that's Butterflyfish. Definitely not business meeting! A very sweet, multi-faceted shade which I will buy again.

I love the colours in this polish, & it goes on sheer & needs a few coats if you want to get the most effective application. The brush is nice & applies easily. Unfortunately the polish would not dry, it just seemed dry & ended up with scrapes in it. It came off easily with acetone based remover.

I love Barry M nail varnish as it is affordable and wears well but this colour is just beautiful. Painting my nails is one of the little pleasures I have left in life and something that makes me feel good about myself. This is my autumn colour, this year.

This product is amazing. I'm a beauty therapist and it's hard to find good nail varnish. At first it looked watery which concerned me, although its more liquidy than I'm used to but realistically, it went on beautifully and it was very smooth, the fact is was more fluid than thick meant a little goes a long way. I did wonder how the coverage would be due to the fact it's quite a light colour and similar brands tend to take more Coats. Two coats or just this mail varnish and I am we done, the colour is astounding! So vibrant and beautiful the pictures really don't do it any justice. 10000% will be buying more and recommending to everyone!

Lo smalto devo ancora provarlo, ma ho notato che il tappo non è lo stesso della foto. Delusa... speriamo che almeno lo smalto, una volta messo sulle unghie duri...

Después de probar varias veces este esmalte os detallo lo que me gusta y lo que no. Lo que me ha gustado: 👍 Buen pincel. 👍 Olor normal. 👍 Secado rápido. 👍 Es casi transparente pero deja un color muy bonito con reflejos rosas y amarillos. En las fotos se puede ver cómo queda con una capa y con 2. 👍 A mí me suele durar bien una semana fácilmente. 👍 Encima de otros colores les da un toque muy bonito. 👍 Bote "grande" 10 ml. 👍 Buena textura y liquidez. Lo que no me convence: 👎 El precio. A 9.63 € que lo compré yo, me parece caro. Espero que mi opinión te haya sido útil ☺️

Such a pretty color !

Ich habe ein sehr kleines Nagelbett und auf meinen kleinen Nägeln sehen starke Farben schnell lustig aus. Dieser Lack hat einen schönen iridisierenden Glanz und sieht schon nach 1x auftragen gut aus. Unbedingt einen Basislack drunter verwenden da der glitterige Lack sonst schwer abzunehmen ist.

Ce vernis à ongles classique rose est tout simplement sublime, autant sur ongles courts que longs. Au soleil il fait des jolis reflets dorés. J'adore...
