Q: This did not work in my expresso machine because the product was ground too finely. Anyone else have this problem?

Espresso has to be finely ground to work in an espresso machine. I bought a De'Longhi EC155 15 BAR Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker for $99.99 on Amazon. It is very easy to use and was easy on my wallet. I use the 2 Tbs filter and tamp the ground espresso with a solid and weighty Espresso Tamper - 50/55 mm. The tamper weight does all the work of packing the grounds correctly in the filter. The espresso shots I make have looked and tasted wonderful. The problem might be as simple as 1. Thoroughly cleaning and descaling the espresso machine. 2. You might need to buy a new filter. 3. You might need a better/heavier tamper. 4. $$ you might need a new machine, or need to have yours checked out by a certified repairman which is always a pain in time/money.

Q: Does this coffee work (or not) with the aeropress system? espresso was too fine. if it's too course, the coffee won't seep enough in the hot water.

Works fine if you use two filter pads.

Q: Tasted this espresso; it's good, but more acidic in taste than illy's older "dark roast" (black label). what is illy's darkest roast espresso?

I am only familiar with Expresso, therefore I have no comment.

Q: Will this coffee work with a illy x9 and a reuseable capsule?

Unfortunately, I do not have any experience with reusable capsules. Test it.
