Having a lot more fun than I thought i would, awesome game.
As someone who had been on the fence regarding this particular title, before deciding to pull the trigger on my purchase and try it out, I can safely say that trailers/online footage, (which portray this as a somewhat tedious 'warriors'/'musou' game) doesn't really do it much justice as they fail to convey the sense of fun to had with it especially with a group of friends. The massive cast of marvel characters, each with their own distinct abilities, in addition to modes like 'Infinity' where you can take on challenges with any team you want, and the various options for levelling up your character's ability/growth, keeps the game feeling fresh. To be sure, it does have its problems, (the camera sometimes tripping out being one of them, and the combat's not as deep as I would like it to be), but the good definitely outweigh the bad. Very happy with this addition to my library of switch titles, and i would definitely recommend it to any Marvel fan.

Decent well made game
Clean Basic graphics, good story, but great game play and very consistent frame rate. A must for fans and no regrets for causals. Many different characters to choose from and upgrade. Some inconsistent difficulty spike and one painful mission that's much to long.

Great for marvel fans!
Lived the first two when I was a kid and so the new one had me excited. One of my friends came round and we played through the whole thing on coop in a couple of days. Fun bosses are the highpoint but some of them have huge difficulty spikes such as Dr strange. Would definitely recommend

Highly enjoyable and can be picked up and played anytime ANYWHERE!
I enjoyed the story in the game but not as much as I thought I would. Could just be infinity stone fatigue though. Graphics are pretty decent but the camera angle should have been kept to the way that the first two games had it. Plus there were countless times that the angle of the camera would have scenery blocking what was happening on screen... Has for the gameplay it is as good as the first 2 games of the series. What took me a while to get used to was there was no grab button like the previous games as well as the simple combos that you could pull off in the previous games. Is this a game of the year contender? No but it is highly enjoyable and can be picked up and played anytime anywhere game. Certainly recommend that you play through at least once.

Nice Marvel game for kids, very dull for teens or more advanced gamers.
Purchased during lock down for my 7 year old son to play. I think it’s rated 12 but this is a kid friendly game, there’s a lot of fighting obviously, but no guts etc and lets face it, you can chuck swords about and beat each other up in Lego Marvel!OK, the graphic novel style graphics are nice, and there are loads of playable characters to unlock. It’s quite a long game and the levels just keep on coming, you can select stages from the menu and replay them at any time. The game play is very very straight forward, follow a set path, press this, beat these guys....etc etc get to the end of a stage, unlock a new character or two. It’s that simple, which is why I think this game would be a little dull and boring for a twelve year old. To put it in context my 5 year old can happily complete levels himself.Once you have unlocked more characters you can collect gems and other stuff to upgrade individuals or your chosen team (which you can swap about as you see fit). This is where it gets a little complicated for younger kids......and adults, you upgrade people, give them power crystals and upgrade some weird power matrix for your chosen squad most of which makes no sense........and then.......it makes no real difference to anything at all.Once you have done one level you have done them all. It’s just random button smashing during fights, press stuff in a certain order and unlock a team combo which is nice....but TBH....just press everything and eventually you’ll do the combos and win without thinking about it. This is exactly the reason my 5 yr old can play it too.The boss fights are mostly dead easy until you get one or two which are significantly harder....to the point of frustration. Especially when the rest of the game play has been so similar. There are some unlockable challenges and other stuff but again....it’s just button mashing mindless fun. This is a straight forward fight heavy game for I’d say 5-6+. There’s no gore or swearing. It’s very child friendly. The marvel characters have their own traits and abilities which keep it amusing enough for older kids but the straight forward nature of the game may make this a bit dull for some players.Co-Op mode available etc, entertaining enough to team up and work through a level but doesn’t add to the overall gameplay.

A humble opinion...
A MARVEL-ous story with X-ceptional characters (my opinion through my Ruby-Quartz tinted glasses). I paid for the DLC and have found them to be worthwhile and hoping the third one will be FANTASTIC as well!Needs more character skin models though.
