This bulb is hard to find. It fits a couple of my desk lights. The price of one of these bulbs is very pricey if you look around. So I was very skeptical about these bulbs when I found them and purchased them because the price was so much less than anywhere else. The price was so good I bought two packs of three even though I only needed two. The bad news is that one of the bulbs was broken when it arrived. Strangely enough it was the middle bulb of one the three pack. The other 5 bulbs were delivered in perfect condition. I have been using two of them for the last 8+ months, one of them continuously. I have no complaints about the quality of the bulbs that I purchased. They fit perfectly and have the same brightness as the original.

We tried both bulbs. They would come on and then shut off. We found that we couldn't seem to get the bulb to slide snugly down in and stay on. Had to try and hold the bulb down to keep it lit. I noticed someone said they cut off the tabs and then it worked in their Veriflux lamp.We compared the tabs at the base of the bulb to the old burned out one and saw that the new bulbs have very slightly longer tabs. We are talking so little that you can see it visibly but couldn't really measure that bit.We used a dremel type tool and sanded down all 4 tabs on each bulb just a bit. We did it to both bulbs that came in the set.They now both work. I will not be rating it high, but thought I would pass it on. No one should have to sand down a light bulb case to make it work.

TL:DR - get it for the price. Period.(Minor Update - no, the bulb still working, fingers crossed, so not "after 2 days..." like I've stated before, but upon looking at another review before this one - prior to this update - was approved, it was mentioned that the reviewer didn't get 6 CIATA bulbs. ME NEITHER :( But these are all Made In China bulbs so I'm not as concerned...yet. 6 generic no brand name bulbs, just a box for each bulb with picture of the bulbs, model, specifications, and that was it.)Do I need 6 bulbs? No, unless I count the next 20 years (my 1st one burnt out after 3 years). I'm hoping that they do last long but I've no way to test (and I definitely don't want to test and re-review saying "after 2 days..."). Maybe I'll update this post in 20 years, if I remember and Amazon still exists ;)Package wise, all 6 bulbs were sent in a plastic bag package. It's then put in a shipping box ONLY BECAUSE I also bought something else (so I think it would just be the plastic bag package if it's the only thing purchased. I don't have Prime so have to get something over the $25 min shipping hump). Each bulb was individually packaged inside a paper box, and protected by a semi-thick cardboard inside the paper box.Strong illuminating white light and simple plug and use.If you don't have a lifespan that long, the same company also sells 4 bulbs for $18, so about $4.50 each, 2nd cheapest. That purchase however, has free shipping included (so no need Prime or $25 minimum purchase).

I liked that it arrived in a timely manner, but that's all. The bulb fit perfect and came on, but then went off then I couldn't get it to stay on. I tried the other bulb and same thing happened. Very disappointed. I guess I'll try to sand the little tips. Hope it works or I will send it back for REFUND.Up date. I sanded the four prongs with an Embrey board and so far it has worked perfect. So thankful. I was very upset.

I have tried this size lightbulb from other manufacturers and unlike the other companies this one stays on until you turn it off. I have had others that would go off when they wanted too.

I've been using this kind of bulb in 5 lights for many years. I replaced an existing bulb of a different brand that was still working. This is quite a bit brighter. I'm not sure if it is the bulb or if these gradually lose their brightness before they go out.

I replaced the old full spectrum bulb with this 6500k bulb. I'm sure there is some fancy feel good difference between full spectrum and this, but I really can't tell since I only ever use it as a reading light. It's perfectly bright and my last one lasted at least a couple of years.

I bought these to replace the bulbs in my Bell + Howell sunlight floor lamps and desk lamp. They seem to do just as well as the original bulbs. I can’t say anything about the longevity because I haven’t had them long, but everything is is A+ so far!Definitely recommended!Will update if there are any changes.
