My family loves these cards, and we play lots of games with them. Our old set was very sticky, and just old. These cards feel amazing, and we have so much fun playing with them. We do not play the actual game, but one that is made up, and then some others that are made up.

This review I'm writing is for the version of Rook you see in the picture for this listing. I do not understand why people are complaining. You have to understand that just because an item has a review, doesn't mean the person put any real thought into it. They often don't tell you things specifically like if it was bought from one of the second-hand listings, for instance, which is why they might act like they're reviewing any ordinary store-bought product when they shouldn't be. Mine was the one pictured that was brand new from the retailer on Amazon, not second-hand. Also, the pictures are meaningless. One guy shows what are supposedly badly cut edges but mine was not like that. The material is no worse than what you get with other popular games like Uno or Phase 10, and is roughly the same size as those cards, therefore they are not 'too small'. They will obviously wear down over time like everything does, but I'm certain they'll always be cheap and easy to get, so you won't break the bank when time comes to replace them. I received 60 cards in my package, which means all 57 mentioned (14 for each of the 4 colors, and one Rook) plus three "Discard" cards. That is not a mistake but intentional. Nothing wrong with this set. Yes, manufacturer defects happen from time to time, but this is not what happened with the item I received and am happy with. Go ahead and order it from Amazon themselves.
