Tee the golf ball a little lower than you would for a driver.
I hit it just fine off the tee.

Reliably straight
Drives straight and longish off tee. Maybe 85-90% driver distance but usually close to where you want the ball and not in deep rough. Haven’t had much success off the deck. This is a credible driver replacement.

Women - slow speed swing
I do not have a powerful swing like many of the women in my club however this club gives me just a little more distance to become competitive with people just above my handicap as many times (not all) the little bit of extra distance - say 10 to 15 yards - can get me on the green with one less stroke then I used to. I recommend it for any slow swing and little weaker player that is looking to get a little more distance. I'm still learning the correct way to hit it and have not found the best t spot but have just viewed the u-tube video that was sent by autopilot (wished I had viewed it sooner) and recommend watching that. I will try their suggestions to see if I can squeeze a little more distance out of it. One thing I notice is that I must remember to swing a little harder at impact in order to get that extra distance.

Product did not meet expectations
I'm a 17 handicap. I reviewed the material on this club for over a month before making the decision to purchase. My expectations were that the club would help alleviate a small portion of the dispersion for my tee shots. This was not the case. For shots with slice/fade, the slice/fade was exacerbated with this club. I have the ability to intentionally hit a draw with my driver and long irons, I was unable to hit a draw with the GX-7. Additionally, I expected it to reasonably transition to hitting fairway shots. This was definitely not the case. While I'm not the best player of fairway woods, I can reasonably hit my 3W nine out of ten times. The GX-7 did not lend itself to play from the fairway. I believe that the internet advertising sponsored my the manufacturer of the club is over-exaggerated at best and could be considered down right misleading.

Only helps a little
I've used this club several times now and find that it didn't fully meet my expectations. From my experience as a high handicap golfer, it helped with a slight mis-hit, but if, for example, you're expecting it to solve your slice it's probably not going to do the job. I also found that while I can hit my 15-year-old driver 200+ yards (when I hit it straight) I could at best hit 175 to 200 yards with this club. While the manufacturer says to hit it like a 7 iron, I found I needed to position the ball forward in my stance to get it to go straighter.

GX-7 Performs as Advertised
This is the first driver I have had that has given me the confidence when I walk up to the tee box that I will hit a straight shot. Any person who has a hard time keeping the ball in the fairway on a tee shot, I highly recommend giving the GX-7 a try. It truly does what it is advertised.

Extremely Accurate
This club is extremely accurate as advertised, provided you hit your 7 iron accurately, as the two clubs have about the same shaft length. The one draw back, DISTANCE. I normally hit my Taylormade R9 Driver 240 to 260, sometimes further, with minimal accuracy to the fairway. With this club, I am averaging 210 to 225 and have missed only two fairways in 4 rounds of 18 holes. So, yes, I love it. I will sacrifice the distance for accuracy any day. My scores have dropped between 5 and 8 shots respectively. Tee it down a bit from the driver ball height and feel comfortably hitting from the fairway. I love this club.....

Wrong club
I didn't like the fact that they sent me a left handed club. I'm right handed. My golf game is bad enough without trying to learn to hit a golf ball southpaw. Dear God, I can't even imagine what that would be like. I'd have to buy a bigger golf bag to carry more golf balls to replace the ones that went into the forest. My slice would become a hook and visa versa. The ground squirrels would be diving for their burrows. The ducks on the water hazards would be wearing hard hats. It would be ugly. Other than that I bet its a great club.
