Helped me when I had orchids

Excellent book on orchid care! It has lovely photography throughout the entire book. The care information goes into great detail and is outstanding. I was not expecting too much from a Better Homes & Gardens book, but this book is the best for beginner orchid growers like myself. It has great information on how to properly care for orchids of all types. I am very, very happy that they did not include the "just add ice " watering method. Using ice cubes is the worst way to water orchids. Cold water and ice can kill orchid roots. This book includes good all around information on how to care for orchids, including watering , fertilizer and light requirements. It even has great online resources listed in the back of the book. I wish that I could give this book 10 stars!

If you are just getting into orchid growing I would recommend this book. It is simple, with out all the hard to pronounce names of orchids it puts them all in categories and explains how to grow etc. Lovely pictures too.

Great book to learn about the history of Orchids, the care & I identified a few of mine. Happy!

When you don't know what to do, open this book and find out :-)! Very informative Easy-to-Read I recommend this book to anyone that wants to grow orchids.

It has been very helpful in getting me started as an orchid grower. It is my go to book.
