SOLBAR Sunscreen Zinc Unscented Transparent Cream SPF 38, 4 oz

This is one of the best and safest sunscreens out there! I usually only use this during the summer and it works great! Make sure to apply this only when the skin is dry and it actually does not leave a white film on the skin. I have olive toned skin so most sunscreens make my skin look a very interesting color and most people that see me are like whoa are you sick? No it's just my sunscreen. Oh. I recommend only using a little if applying to the face. Like a dime or nickel size amount, because it can get greasy if too much is applied. It's a great sunscreen and has good safety ratings! Highly recommended! It also leaves my skin feeling hydrated but on the days when I have extremely dry skin, I use a moisturizer before and then wait a couple of minutes to let it be absorbed and then apply the sunscreen. I have to stress that use a little. When I first got it, I also had a very greasy face but then figured out to use less. With my skin tone, I usually do not have to worry about sun burns too often but I do tan very easily and this helps me not to be several shades darker by the end of summer and stay my natural color. Also the price is very good considering it is a better sunscreen then many other more expensive brands! I usually only use this during the spring and summer time and then in the cooler months switch to a lower spf sunscreen since I don't think I need one this high during the winter, and usually during the summer my major skin concern is to prevent peeling and severely dry skin because of the cold and wind!

This sunscreen - unlike so many others - does not leave you paste-y white. It blends into your skin nicely and can be worn easily under make-up or without. It remains on for the entire day. If you touch your face, it may feel a little goopy, but the look is fabulous. The sunscreen does its job in protecting you well throughout the day and can be reapplied if you're not wearing make-up. Another wonderful quality is that this product is wonderfully beneficial and healing to your skin. My dermatologist recommended it during a time when I was experiencing a lot of redness on my face due to allergies and sensitivities. I use this also after my monthly microderm appointment both during the day and at night as the product makes your skin incredibly soft and counteracts any redness. I have also found it useful during the winter when my skin becomes extremely dry as this sunscreen has wonderful moisturizing qualities. I used to buy this at my dermatologist office, but she has stopped carrying it. I search it out on the internet whenever I run out as I do not want to be without this product!

This is an awesome product. I’m allergic to mostly everything. My dermatologist recommended this when it was 15. I’m now 55. I still use it. It’s wonderful.

It's a very excellent product. The price is quite high. But, the tube contains enough product that it does last a decent time.

There is only one sunblock that I can use without getting clogged pores. This is it. I told my dermatologist that I could not find anything to protect my skin that does not cause me to break out. She instantly recommended this product. She gave me a free sample and sent me on my way. Dermatologists tend to disprove of sunburn, so I trusted her to point me in the right direction. It was a wise decision. I ordered a bottle after using the sample once. This brand of sunblock uses zinc that coats the top of my skin, but does not block my pores. I do not break out when I use this product. I get quite shiny, but my skin is protected and I feel safe and happy. Too often I have gotten burnt after using subpar sunblock, or I have broken out in an acne attack after using sunblock that clogs my pores. It blocks the sun, but does not clog my pores. It also goes on easily and absorbs well so that I'm not tinted white. It is exactly what I was looking for, and I am so happy my dermatologist recommended this brand. I recently went on vacation in Utah. Not only was I in the desert, but I was at a high elevation. Both of those factors lead to sunburn. I kept myself coated, reapplied every two hours, and I barely even tanned. The people hiking with me got burnt with their sunblock, but I was completely protected with mine. It kept me sunburn free and I will continue to use it to protect my sensitive skin.

This is the only cream that stops my arms itching when exposed to the sun. A miracle sunscreen. Arrived quickly in time for my holiday and I will be buying it in future. Excellent.

excellent product that kept my skin in good condition whilst on my holiday. A little goes a long way so would sometimes mix with a lighter face lotion. Higher price than a lot of store sunscreens and reams but it is worth it for the Zinc Oxide 7.5% and it lasts longer than you'd expect.

After searching various sites for advice on an itchy skin condition which normally only effects my arms during the warmer months, I came accross a recommendation for a Zinc sun cream. Couldn't find one on the high street so took a chance with this. Have to say I've been pleasantly surprised. There's no chemically smell, the cream covers well without being too greasy and as long as you re-apply regularly (as the instructions recommend) sun protection is fab. For me, it seems to stop my skin absorbing the heat and so I suffer less with the itchy arms. Will go for this product every time and would recommend to anyone.

I have ultra sensitive skin and havn't yet found a high factor sun screen that I can use without any issues at all. I have Salicylate Intolerance and Vitiligo. With this cream I only get a slight tingling itch on my face occassionally which is enough that I can use it sparingly a few days a week during the summer high UV days. It needs 5 mins ish to settle into the skin before applying makeup on top, otherwise the makeup won't blend in. Although I only apply it once a day in the morning, my face hasn't tanned for two years.

I suffer with very itchy arms if I do not protect them. The zinc in this product really does the trick. A little goes a long way too. Excellent.
