Dunlop Blues Bottle Slide (34273000001)

Had a terrible cold, ordered this bottle of curicidin, but it arrived empty.So I just slid it over one finger and played the blues.

It's a slide...it slides. No sharp edges, it is round like a ring only wider. Hard to do the dishes while wearing it but great for when you want to play slide guitar.

For all the dolts who complained about the size... Be aware that that's how they are. If you know about slide and how to play you'd know these medicine bottle slides are always loose to fit. By using your supporting fingers adjacent to the one you chose to place the slide on, you get a comfortable grip. Slide is all about dampening and tonality.. BE AWARE. Great little thing but a bit smaller than the original corricidian bottles. ENJOY!

Product is good, just not what I was hoping for. I have average size hands. Fits loose over ring finger, covers entire length of finger. I wanted something shorter so I could bend my finger at the knuckle.

Good quality tube and sounds great on guitar. BUT the neck end (small)and the body (larger) have different diameters. Sizing becomes an issue! I have small hands but could not get my finger past the tight neck without getting it stuck in the bottle. If I were to get a larger neck size to promote entry then the overall body size would be too big for my finger. The only solution is to cut off the neck 1/4" and sand/buff that end to make the bottle all one diameter. Bottomline: I would not buy this again. Not worth the effort.

Really nicely made. Medium size is good for me. If you have larger hands, don't get medium.

I purchased a blues bottle slide awhile ago. Loaned it out to a friend of mine..never saw it again. I guess that means he liked it ha! Well, I liked it so much that I just let him have it and decided I'd just buy another one for me. It works absolutely fantastic, I love the sound of a blues bottle slide on my guitar AND it's not very expensive to get which makes my wallet feel pretty good too.

I have medium sized hands. I will probably purchase the Large size in the future. This one fits very well but I can see an advantage to having a larger size in regards to comfort when using it for longer periods of time.

I use mine as my main slide now, the glass is thicker than youd expect for a vile but they are based on original medicines bottles from the real old blues days. Its got nice sustain the only negative thing I have to say is that the image doesnt appear to be accurate, theyare the same slide I dont doubt but this image portrays them being quite pearlescent and a shade of grey but in fact Im looking at mine right now and its completely transparent just like regular glass. Other than that Im happy with it, even dropped it before in the kitchen and nothing happened, thats why its still good value for money. Hope this helps - S.W

Too thin

I love this slide. I have a few glasse ones and a few bras as well this thing is my new favorite. Before getting this one I favored a thick brass acoustislide but this one is much lighter without losing that thick tone and meaty sound. Only thing I don't like is do to the end being closed you're finger gets hot and sweaty. Not a big deal for me just a point to consider
