I had a very bad experience after buying this cameraOriginal reasons to buy- 2 cameras (front and back)- Battery-power option- Known brand- GPS inbuilt to monitor- WiFi capability for easy transfer- Good reviews globallyActual experience- Battery backup stopped working within 2 weeks of buying the camera- Because of not battery backup, it keeps messing date and time. I have to keep resetting it every day- When my car actually had a small incident the camera did not record anything- 'DrivePro' iPhone app is quite bad. Camera UX is also quite bad- It keeps telling me to format the memory card almost every 2 weeksAny positives- Mounting/setup is easy- 2-way camera is helpfulCurrent status- Applying for the warranty- I have started looking at other dash cameras as I am not able to trust this one with my safety during those important moments- I will update the review within 30 days

Eigentlich echt super, nur muss man aufpassen das man es nicht zu hoch installiert damit die Beifahrersonnenblende noch aufzuklappen geht. Auch muss man eigentlich zwingend den Klebefuss dazu bestellen, der mitgelieferte Saugfuss ist nicht so doll.

I now have 5 of these running in my families cars. I have tried several other brands but have always had the best luck with Transcend. Several of them are 3+ years old and are still going strong. The have outlasted all my other dashcams. Picture quality is good and I like having two cameras (one forward and one movable) in each car in the same unit. The wifi interface works fine and is easy to use. I do suggest using high endurance memory cards. I hope Transcend continues to make this model and maybe update it to 2K or 4K in the future.

I bought this to replace my Transcend DP520. It lasted 4 years. I was so satisfied with Transcend I wanted to keep it going. The front camera is 1080p and looks great on a laptop. It has a 160° field of view. It's such a wide angle that I can see cars on the side of me on my screen. The rear camera records the inside of the cab in my car. It is 720p and 110° field of view.You can't really see the outside of my car with the rear camera. The 4 IR LEDs that comes built into the camera, isn't enough to light up the interior. So I added an infrared illuminator. It's tiny and has a small footprint. Ich habe die Kamera in zwei Fahrzeugen im Einsatz. Sie funktionieren bisher einwandfrei. Auch die Qualität der Filme ist sehr gut und eignet sich auch zum Filmen von Fahrsequenzen im Urlaub.

Transcend products are fantastic in general. This camera is no exception. Very simple set-up, high-quality videos with built-in GPS tracking, and it comes with it's own Transcend micro sd card. We are very happy with this dash cam.
