So far it’s awesome! I don’t like doing reviews shortly after receiving a product due to not knowing the longevity, but I’m feeling pretty good about this product holding up pretty well. Using this to help improve ventilation of added heat from a turbo that this car was never designed to have and never got from the factory. It’s a 3SGTE engine with a GR-3071R turbo in a 1986 MR2.

I’ve ordered this mesh for custom work and it’s a great product to work with and it’s consistent in shape and design. It may cost more to ship because it is packaged well and unlike a roll that you may be considering that’s cheaper you will be dealing with trying to flatten and straighten it out which will be a challenge from the start of your project that’s most likely has its own difficulties why add more. Also owner is very helpful and reachable.

This screen made an excellent grill. The honeycomb is small enough to catch bugs and deflect rocks, but not enough so as to create drag or be too delicate. I cut it to size to fit within the front bumper of my 12 honda fit and zip tied it into place (idea credit to a dude on fitfreak forum) in an effore to protect the a/c condenser. The grill arrived in flat packaging (not rolled up or anything) in good condition with a clean finish. I think this product really fit the bill. UPDATE: been over 3 years. Still shiny black, no dings on my condenser. I used sheet metal sheers to cut my shape, and I'm not too happy with that method due to tendence to bend the mesh. I think a jigsaw with proper blade may be the way to go.

This is the only place i could find this type of material anywhere close to this price. Excellent quality. Easy to work with. Used regular shears to cut to size. I used a shop press to make custom pressed speaker grills which i would highly recommend as a way to add to the asthetics and protect your gear on a custom job. As a member of Amazon I rely on reviews when shopping. Therefore, I will always try to be as honest and impartial as I can and will try to provide helpful insight into the product. I think pretty expensive for what it is but, so is everything these days. In between the openings was a little tighter than I expected. But, for my purpose it will look great. Would buy again if needed.

Looks great, easy to work with, Here's how I modded my grill: 1) Cut out the entire inside louvers using a dremel all that was left is the frame. 2) Cut the mesh to fit so it overlaps to the inside of the frame. (CCG 6"x36" Perforated Hex Grill Mesh Sheet - Gloss Black (amazon.com)). 3) Gluing the mesh and the badge into place with a hot glue gun. 4) Put a new badge on the grill (Premium 3D Metal Decal / Sticker - Punisher Skull for Car, Truck and Motorcycle 3" X 2.2" (Gunmetal) (amazon.com)). 5) I plan to use stainless steel hardware through the mesh to reattach the grill to the car.

I used this for a headphone grill. Expensive option but it worked. Paint comes off easy when cutting it.

Tho it is not as strong as steel, it is much easier to mend to fit your direct needs. The structural integrity surpassed my expectations considering it is aluminum. Excellent quality gloss finish.
