Great product. I find it very soothing to my gums, and helpful in keeping plaque in check. That, and great taste and fresh breath.I have made many repeat purchases, and am so happy with the new dispensing cap; so much easier to pour and measure!

I usually don't write reviews for things, although they do influence if I will buy an item. But for this I had to.Periodontal disease runs in my family. I've always been a frequent visitor to the dentist and periodontist, either getting root planning and scaling, DEEP DEEP pockets (7+), crown lengthening, gum grafting, gum surgery twice, two root canals..... I'm saying all this so you know what I was dealing with before I bought this oil.My dentists never tried to help me other than bi-monthly cleanings and suggesting I may need implants. They always make me feel embarrassed and bad. No matter what I did nothing helped. Believe it or not I was being very deligent in flossing, brushing, etc, but to no avail. THEN........ (drum roll)While looking thru amazon for some random item, oil pulling pops up. I had never heard of it. Being nosy, I checked it out. After reading the rave reviews and doing my own research online, I figured it couldn't hurt. And boy was I right. Best $15 I've spent. My gums have stopped bleeding, no more dry mouth issues, tooth sensitivity has diminished, my breath is fresher. I didn't tell my periodontist I was oil pulling, so when I went in for my cleaning, he was shocked. After pulling for 1 month (2 times a day @10-20 mins each), pockets that were 7+ are now down to 3 and 4. My gums look healthier and have tightened up. I'm not sure what the mechanics are as to how and why this works, but it does! I just ordered another few bottles. People have complained about the taste or gagging, but when I weighed that against losing my teeth, guess which won. The taste is like a cinnamon candy but you're so busy swishing you aren't really tasting it. To help kill time, I oil pull as I'm doing other things, in the shower, cleaning up, watching tv, etc.So stop reading this and go order yours now. You won't be disappointed.

I really enjoy this product. The taste and smell is great. I feel great when I use it and have confidence that my dental health is better when I use this product. I am pleased.

I don't know if I buy into the whole Ayurvedic "cleansing/detoxing" thing with oil pulling, but I was interested in the possible oral health effects of it. I tried it on my own with some unrefined virgin coconut oil and seconds after putting it in my mouth, I was gagging. Couldn't even last 10 seconds of swishing before I had to stop. It was a miserable experience and the thought of trying again scared me.Still, I was interested in the concept and somehow, Amazon put this product on my radar. After reading some of the reviews, I decided I'd give it a shot, but if it made me gag, I would send it back and be done with the whole oil-pulling experiment.I expected that this would have me gagging just like the coconut oil. Instead, it was a very nice cinnamon flavor - kind of like a cross between red hots, Big Red chewing gum and Close Up toothpaste (three things that I LOVE) - and I happily swished for about 30 seconds before my jaw got tired. For me, 30 seconds was more than enough - I followed up with a good brushing and WOW, my mouth felt clean and fresh all day. Even after eating.Since I bought it, I've managed to work up to about a minute and a half of swishing, but really, I don't see the need of going any longer than that. I'm not sure if it truly will improve my oral health or not, but I'm pleased with how clean my mouth feels and how fresh my breath tastes from using this product. Food doesn't seem to get as stuck between my teeth since using this (I'm an avid popcorn eater, I often deal with kernels getting stuck between my teeth!) and my flossing seems to go a lot quicker and cleaner.I'm very impressed with this and am quite happy to add this to my regular oral hygiene habit.

Awesome for fresh breath and calming inflamed gums! I use this rinse twice per day to help with some gum inflammation. It has definitely helped. The cinnamon flavor is natural and very pleasing. Your breath will be like flowers or plants, or spices? In other words, fresh! fresh! exciting! so exciting to my gums!I use it for longer than 30 seconds. Usually, I will rinse for 3-5 minutes for a deeper "cleanse" for my mouth. It works quickly and with no weird aftertaste or alcohol sensation. I tend to get canker sores and this product has reduced the frequency quite a bit. I also take Lysine at times, so that is a factor.Price? ahh, what do we say? Why does every good product, especially health and beauty aids, have to be overpriced? This is no exception...for the price maybe a 12 or 16 oz size would be better, instead of the only 8oz. version.100% chemical-free is great! That adds to the appeal, despite the price. I would highly recommend it, especially to help calm gums.
