These clips, if you treat them right, have amazing lasting power. The black ones, by the nature of clear vs solid plastic, are a bit more durable in the long run compared to the tortoise shell ones. That being said, you can get years out of them easy. Scünci isn't a brand we have in Norway and I was super excited to find a seller who would ship to me. I haven't been back to the States in a while to get some, so this was awesome.

Thank you so much!!! I loved these no slip grip hair clips when I had long hair in a larger size. The only hair clip that wouldn’t pull my hair or fall out. Then I cut my hair shorter and my hair couldn’t fit into the clips any longer so I looked high and low for a smaller version! I found these clips and was skeptical about the price. I love these clips way better the goody ones. They’re more durable and the perfect size for my hair. I have averagely thick, shoulder length hair. I’ll usually use them For styling my hair half up..: or fully up thrown a bun when sleeping/getting ready. The cost of them off amazon was basically the same price in the store, for 5x more clips. Which was amazing. I would say I’d buy them again... but I don’t think I’ll need to for a long while.
