Q: Does it come in Tacticool Tan?

I do not know. I am certain it comes in black & olive drab (military green).

Q: Since the normal version is out of stock, would the drone version still work as a dslr camera bag? i know the inserts are different.

I am confident that the drone version would work with most configurations. Aside from safely storing drone equipment, I also have sound and photographic gear. It depends on what activity I am working on.

Q: What makes this 'drone edition' better than the 'Freelance photo and drone' version?

I do not real know. It may be the accessories. The Freelance dividers may be more to accommodate cameras, lenses, and other related photography equipment. The drone edition will have dividers that are geared for drone and it’s photographic accessories. It also comes with a Hazard 4 Drone Pilot PVC patch. That’s about my opinion. I have used it for my drones and sound equipment. It is very flexible in reconfiguring the interior and my CCW when I’m out in the field by foot, vehicle, or horse.

Q: Why is the price so much lower than the regular freelance bag or freelance bags everywhere else?

It comes down to the size and style of the customizable inserts inside the bag. The externals are exactly the same other than the optional patches included in the drone edition.
