Mermaid Maternity Women's Maternity Boyshort Swim Bottom

There is a MASSIVE need for more variety, selection, and affordable maternity clothes. For goodness sake, we’re growing humans and have to spending hours and extra money than the average shopper just to be clothed with proper ditto and comfort! This is why I fell in love with these smooth, comfy, flattering, and fast drying swim bottoms. When you where the swim bottom shorts with a tankini top, it looks well put together. More importantly, the bottoms fit perfectly and stay with your shape and whatever movements the entire time. I believe they were a bit pricey, like all pregnancy gear 🙄Size reference - this is my second pregnancy and am currently at 26 weeks (almost to the 3rd tri !) and about 160 lbs. My non-pregnant body is 129 lbs and I’m a size small top and 4 in all bottom attire. So I bought a medium in these maternity swim wear shorts and they fit perfectly! I’d go a size up, because they’ll still cling to your shape but not to the extent of unflattering like a second pair of skin!

I was hesitant to buy these due to the price, and ended up ordering a different brand that was cheaper. Well, I received those and sent them back the same day and then ordered these. These are amazing! The fit was spot on for my now 23 week bump with plenty of stretch to hopefully fit me through the rest of my pregnancy. They were very soft and the length was perfect. Not too short where they looked like booty shorts and not too long where they felt like biker shorts. Just the right modesty for my taste! Worth the price for swim bottoms!!

I am surprised at how much I like these! I can’t find boy shirt maternity swim bottoms anywhere!! I wish they weren’t as expensive but since it’s all I can find, I’ll pay the price. They aren’t too short and aren’t long either. I’m 5’4” and 130 lbs at 15 weeks pregnant (125 prepregnancy). I’ll try to remember to update my review as I get bigger to tell how well they stretch! This green swim suit is also from Amazon. Great pair! The second photo shows how high up the shorts belly band goes. I just roll it once and it’s perfect.

I needed a suit to go into the pool with my son for swim lessons. I only wear one-piece suits when not pregnant, and my belly was starting to stress the seams of my suits. I started wearing these in my early third trimester, so I can't speak to how they fit before then, but they've fit great for me. The top stays up, and the legs don't ride up. Granted, I'm not swimming laps in these, just helping teach my son to swim. I do find the tag to be very irritating, though. I cut it out, but it still rubs in a very obnoxious way (and I'm not usually very sensitive to tags). I'm 5'8", 135 pre-pregnancy, and the small will work well for my entire third trimester.

These were fine for a trip we took over the weekend. I felt funny with the panel all the way up, so I wore it folded over. I did have to adjust it quite a bit when I moved around, but that may be just a personal issue. Comfortable enough that I took my beach cover off and let my boyfriend have his wish of my baby belly in a bikini while at the pool. I like the way the shorts and underliner fit very much and will wear these as long as possible even after the baby comes.

Good quality, I ordered an XL, which is the size that I normally get at motherhood maternity for pants/shorts, and these were too big. I didn’t go swimming with them because I knew if they were baggy dry, they would be awful wet. It’s Kind of a bummer that I have to pay shipping to send them back, but I’ll be ordering a size L to replace. And hope that I don’t need a medium!

If the cost of these swim bottom are holding you back, don't let it! These were amazing! The fit was spot on and the belly band worked straight through my third trimester! I went swimming at least 4 times a week and the material held strong with all that chlorine. They still have lots of life left for my next possible pregnancy! I really loved these!I'm 5'6 and wore size 16 pants pre pregnancy and bought the recommend size. The length was absolutely perfect and this may be TMI but I had a very nasty vericose vein in my pelvic area and upper thigh and these shorts covered that(thankfully!). Great product!

These are great swim shorts! They have just the right amount of "give" in the legs to be flattering and not too tight. The length is as the picture shows. I only wish the belly band had a little more elastic in it to fit me as snuggly at 5 mos. as it most likely will at 9 mos.
