Greenbrook Dual Tarrif Boost Timer, off peak cheap rate energy (Boost Option)

Despite reading some of the negative reviews for me it’s a good product very good price and straight forward fitting and most of all very fast delivery.

Cheap plasticy feel and look. Not robust like say hive or Honeywell use on their heating controllers. And box space in back for wires is slightly tight - with earth being awkward separation from other terminals. Box could have been bigger and terminal layout improved.For me, I drilled and pluged, but didn't fix to wall until wired in, as that gave best manoeuvrability, particularly in an airing cupboards tight spaces. Give yourself plenty of wire to work with.That said, it is working well enough and will hopefully last.

Perfect for what was neededEasy to install, easy for customer to use

Wire terminals are so small, that you can hardly fit old 2.5 - 4mm heaters and feed wires in them. Took me about 3 hours to replace an old Newlec programmer (normally 30 min )!!! only because wire terminals in this new one probably designed for 1- 1.5mm2 wires !!!Very fiddly.Can't say anything good about the body either - Very Flimsy and Fragile !!!Old programmer had three (3) times thickes plastic body and three (3) times bigger wire terminals !!!Very poor quality, sorry

It did the job but not sure how it will work long term, poor quality but cheap.
