Comfortable even in the hottest water!
The hot water from my tap is amazing for sanitizing my dishes while I was them but it was murder on my hands when I was using cheap playtex dishwashing gloves. I looked up these, and they protect in over 200 degrees f water, and they do - I easily can wash and rinse everything in steaming hot water without pain or discomfort now. They grip glass well and fit nicely. I am thrilled with this purchase and bought a second, larger pair for my husband too.

Best rubber gloves available!
Best gloves available. They last forever and are comfortable and protective. I just ordered my second pair after maybe 5 or 6 years! The old ones are worn out yet either--it just occurred to me to see if I could find another pair for if and when they are shot! So now I have two pairs. I got a smaller size with my second pair and they fit even better than the original pair.

Latex-free, insulated and cotton-lined for comfort ... these thick hypo-allergenic gloves work well in hot water
These are indeed the 'ultimate household gloves'. Being made of vinyl (and of course, latex free) is what makes them 'ultimate'.When my allergies act up, I seem to react to everything - including even the mildest dishwashing liquid. Hence the need for waterproof latex free gloves. These hypo-allergenic gloves do the job just fine!PROS:These gloves are made of a tough vinyl shell that can withstand harsh dishwashing cleaners. The vinyl shell also insulates my hands so I can safely use really hot water when washing a sinkful of greasy dishes. The vinyl around the glove's fingers and palm is slightly roughened for a good grip on soapy dishes.Gloves measure about 12" long with 5" cuffs ... so, I can easily reach for those dishes at the very bottom of my kitchen sink full of sudsy water.I also have the option of folding back the long cuffs on these gloves ... this prevents water from running back on my arms while doing the dishes. (SEE PHOTOS IN CUSTOMER IMAGES)The generous cotton liner makes this kitchen glove super comfortable. The cotton liner also allows me slip these gloves on and off with utmost ease. These gloves come in really cool colors ... so, they are fun to wear!Gloves, especially, cotton lined gloves, would need washing. I machine wash these gloves on gentle cycle and line dry to get them really clean.HINT: I fold the cuffs all the way back to the fingers before machine washing and, again to line dry. So, my gloves are always clean and odor free.CONS:These vinyl gloves are thick. However, I adjusted quickly to the thickness without any loss of dishes! :)I find that new gloves are a bit stiff at first, but they soon soften up nicely.ABOUT SIZING: These cotton lined gloves slip on and off easily so, 'Medium' would be a snug fit for hands that would otherwise use 'Large' in the yellow household gloves. If you like your gloves loose fitting, then buy your regular glove size! The fingers on these gloves are a bit short but I don't find it a problem ... Actually this makes it so much easier to deep clean these gloves (when I turn them inside out) to machine wash and line dry.Overall, I recommend the True Blues Ultimate Household Gloves to anyone looking for gloves that are both comfortable and durable. If you are also looking for latex free hypo-allergenic household and garden gloves ... then you found them ... just decide on the color - green, red, purple, pink or plain old True Blue!NOV 2011 UPDATE: After 1 year of dishwashing duty, my green True Blue gloves developed a pinhole leak and, are now retired to doing light duty as my 'dry weather' gardening gloves :))JUNE 2013 UPDATE: My replacement pair is now 17 months old and is still doing active dishwashing duty! However, the cotton inner liner has gotten understandably thinner after over a year and a half of daily use and dozens of baths in the clothes washer :))I am going to 'retire' this pair now, solely for the comfortable feel of the thicker cotton lining in a new pair of True Blue gloves!I certainly got my money's worth out of these gloves over the years ... but still, I wouldn't mind if these gloves were more affordably priced.Hope my review and updates were helpful ... Gloves come up SHORT...just plain STINKS
I really wanted to like this glove because I was tired of shelling out $5-$8 every month or two on dishwashing gloves. These gloves seemed much thicker than the Playtex, Casabella, and Clorox gloves which keep degrading on me (I wash with hot water) and letting in water. From all of the positive reviews on Amazon, I was hoping the pricier True Blues would be a good investment in the long run.Putting on these gloves is ubber comfortable. This is what Playtex gloves used to be like with the cotton lining. I missed the comfort of cotton lined gloves and was excited that these gloves feature the wonderful lining. However, one thing was immediately apparent...the gloves come up short...literally! I prefer gloves come up close to my elbow. These gloves don't even come halfway up my forearm. I tried creating a cuff at the end to keep water out, but nothing really helps combat the short length of these gloves. I'm left with my hands in uncomfortably wet gloves while I wash if I accidentally get any water on the inside (but it's not too uncomfortable because of the cotton lining).Since the gloves get wet, you have to turn the gloves inside out in order to ensure the inside dries out. This task in itself is a pain. With the thinner and longer Playtex, Casabella, and Clorox gloves, I just have to flip the gloves inside out, trap in some air, and pop out the five fingers in one move to turn the gloves inside out and vice-versa. These gloves are a test of patience as you have to pry each individual finger out one by one when you turn the glove inside out and back. I can't use the "balloon" trick to make the fingers flip out because these gloves are too thick and the cuff is too short to let me trap any air in. If you get lazy and don't turn the gloves inside out, you'll pay a dirty price.I have been out of town and so people left at home had to pick up the chores I usually do. I am very diligent, but I can't say that about others. I'm a slight germophobe so one of my pet peeves is dishwashing gloves and sponges that stink so I take measures to ensure things are properly washed out and dried to prevent nasty bacteria from growing. Of course people didn't take the time to air out the dishwashing gloves when I was gone. Not surprisingly, the gloves stank. Usually, when I wash the Playtex, Casabella, and Clorox gloves with plain dish soap the smell goes away if they became "infected" with odor causing bacteria. I couldn't get the smell to go away in these True Blues. I regret putting my hands in these gloves for an hour yesterday because now I can't get rid of the smell from my hands. I have washed them incessantly and they still wreak. My hands are all shriveled and dried from dousing them in Purell and scented hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works. Nothing gets the smell out. I'm so desperate I'm about to soak my hands in an alcohol bath. They're already cracked and dried from all of the alcohol in the hand sanitizers and anti-bacterial soaps, I don't really care at this point how dry the rubbing alcohol will make my hands as long as it can get the smell off of my fingers. I'm even typing this review with one hand since only my right hand is "infected" with the stinky smell.I'm preoccupied and obsessed with getting rid of the smell from my fingers, but I can't get rid of the smell in the gloves either. I put them through the laundry (treatment of detergent, Oxyclean, and Clorox) and that didn't do anything. I sprayed and soaked them with Odoban and Lysol and the smell is still surprisingly strong. They dried overnight after being doused with with disinfectant sprays, but they still stink. I tried soaking them in Ozonated Water and nothing. Now I've drenched it with some 409 and put them out in the sun hoping they'll dry all freshened. If the smell goes away, I'll be surprised if these gloves last long after all of the harsh treatments I had to put the gloves through to get rid of the smell.Definitely a lesson learned on these gloves. I'm very disappointed because I wanted to like them. I didn't have a problem handling dishes with the extra bulk of the gloves. If these gloves ever have a longer cuff in the future, I'll give them another try. I guess it's back to spending money every month or two buying the $5-$8 options that degrade very easily.

Sturdy and Flexible!
I don’t use any other kitchen gloves than the blue ones. They are sturdy, yet flexible. I can gripe glasses and use hot water which saves my hands and nails. They last a long time as well.
