Small Ooze Tube (1 Only Assorted Colors) by Westminster

This is a really neat item! It has a really gooey, slow moving substance inside. You turn it upside down and out slowly starts to ooze into the lower chamber through a small hole which doesn't seem that exciting but you get to watch it pile up in the bottom in weird ways and the best thing is that the top will develop a big bubble because of how thick it is. You can also slowly swirl it around while it's pouring into the lower part and make lines and swirls of goo! It really isn't much for a kid because it goes to slow to be anything exciting. I would also like to adda warning...... do not let anyone smack it down really hard on a table! It will break the seal and make a horribly sticky mess that is near impossible to clean! (I ended up using bleach!)

I purchased an Ooze tube here on Amazon in 2016. My family loves this silly little product! Fast forward to putting my father in a nursing home this month... I decided to get him one too and I went through my history and hit "buy again" assuming I would get the same product. Not what happened! The new one is smaller and it takes forever for the gel to move through. It is so slow that at several points, it appears to not be moving at all. Not even close to the same satisfying experience as the original.

It's a simple concept. A divided two chamber plastic tube. The divider between the chambers has a dime sized hole. One of the chambers is filled with a thick colored ooze. When placed on end the ooze flows from one chamber to the next. That is all. But it is impossible not to watch it flow. Seems odd, yes, but it is so relaxing. Only wis the large version was available.

My pre-schooler loves this. It is slow and creates a bubble at the top as the ooze goes down and she is mesmerized. Recommended for calming kids and for those who like visual sensory input. It seems relatively durable as it has fallen to the floor several times already (#PreSchooler) aOnnd has not gotten a scratch. One of our favorite bubble/ooze type visual toys and we have several.

I received a pink one. It's for my son, although I don't mind that it's pink and neither does he. Variety is great. My toddler isn't very interested, although I'd hoped it would help him calm down when he feels anxious. I'll definitely keep it and I can try introducing it for anxiety again at a later time. But this is not fault of the product. Kids like what they like. If it doesn't end up being useful for my son, I will keep it in my home office or send it to work with my hubby as a desk toy because it can be mesmerizing to watch and will probably help one of us when we feel stressed or need a brief diversion.

This is a fine toy but if it breaks you will never get it up. Ours broke on the carpet in my sons room and my husband spent two hours cleaning it with a heavy duty very nice carpet cleaner and the stains are only about 80% gone and it is still sticky. I rue the day I bought this.

I'm a middle school teacher and I have a large group of students who are special needs. I also have a 3 year old autistic son and everyone loves these. I could only afford 4 to start with for my classroom and I let these sit on the desks of the students who can't focus, are hyper active, or have anxiety. All of my students beg to have this at their table. I am down to three now due to a meltdown and a student throwing it. It cracked and the goo leaked out and it was VERY difficult to scrub off of the typical vinyl-type school flooring. I plan on buying more of these when I can afford them because they are beneficial to calming children down.

Usually I love buying things like this but with this particular order, I was disappointed. The hole separating the compartments is the size of a dime so it took maybe a minute at most for all the ooze to go through. The ooze looks runny and based on the pics shown, mine only came w 3/4 of the ooze shown in pics. Mine may just be an one time mess up but I think next time I buy something like this, I'll do it at a store so I can actually see exactly what I'm buying. Best of luck!

I initially bought the Ooze Tube as something to calm my 3 year old son with Autism. It was a great hit with him, and also with my other three children. I would definitely recommend this product as it is durable (held up to the throwing actions of my children), entertaining to four children under 8, and it is very affordable!
