Nice curling iron
Love this curling iron which is easy to use, and it heats very quickly. The only thing I would have wished is that they would have considered the position of the on and off switch, as it is easily turned off from the positioning of your hand while holding it to curl your hair.

It really is universal
Before purchasing, I spent a lot of time trying to determine if this curling iron would work with just an adapter plug overseas. It states it is a universal curling iron. It absolutely is universal. It works as normal in the United States and with an adapter plug overseas. I have always used metal barrel irons and this was my first ceramic type. There was no difference from metal to ceramic. The nice feature is there are 30 heat settings. It took a few tries to determine which setting worked best. 23 was mine. Some reivews complained that the heat adjuster was in a bad place and they kept turning the heat up or down with their hand during styling. I personally did not find this an issue at all. Oh, and this iron heats up in 30 seconds, really! It also came with a silicone sleeve which came in handy when you did not have time to cool the iron down before packing. This was a great value too! The key to electical items when traveling overseas is to check the input. If it says input 110-220 or 110-240 it will work overseas with just a universal adapter plug for what country you are traveling to. The main thing is the input on the electrical item has to go up to 220V or 240V in order to work with just the adapter plug. When these requirements are met, you don't need a power converter. My Revlon .75 inch metal barrel curling iron input is only 120V 60Hz so I had the choice of buying a power converter or just ordering an inexpensive curling iron. I chose purchasing the curling iron. Power converters come in all types so you have to pay attention to the wattage of the item you want to convert power. Curling irons are usually around 15 watts where as a blow dryer may be 1500 watts (two different type of power converters needed). Power converters are more expensive so just buy the universal curling iron and a universal adapter plug.

Dual Voltage!
I was very pleased to find a curling brush with dual voltage and the 3/4" barrel. This works very well. It has 30 heat levels for all types of hair. Mine is very thin and fine and i like that I can curl it at a lower setting to mitigate damage. The on/off button is placed where I do accidently hit it, turning off the appliance while I'm still using it. A toggle style, instead of the button would be better. I'll adapt!

Love this curling iron!
So, I have naturally curly hair but over the past 10 years or so, my hair has become very thin and parts of it seem to be not as curly. So I needed to get a new curling iron. I used to get the Conair curling irons with the dial that have been around since the 80s. But I found this one and I decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised at the design and how quickly it heated up. It has an auto shut off so I don't have to worry about leaving it on and forgetting about it. It is definitely an upgrade from the old Conair design. I don't get me wrong, if I didn't like this Revlon I probably would have gotten the Conair because I've never had an issue with it. I just wanted to try something different. It was less expensive than the Conair, and I was really looking for the same dial and auto shut off design that's been around forever, but I wanted the 3 pack set of curling irons from Conair and they simply don't have it anymore. Too bad, because that pushed me into getting the Revlon. No regrets here. So far, so good!

Very disappointed with the cheap metal/plastic
The plastic part that you put your thumb on bends! I always have to bend it back up so that I can open up the barrel to get my hair in and out. I needed a smaller barrel size after I cut my hair and I saw this and thought it was perfect, and it was, until one day the metal or plastic piece bent and ever since it’s been a huge pain in the butt. The heat is alright, although I dislike the temperature control nob. It’s not very practical for keeping it on your desired level because of how easy it is to move. I love the tighter curls, I just wish it were better quality. Oh well, you definitely get what you pay for on this one.

Support to hold hot iron off counter is too large.
Love the heat and the auto turn off if you forget it. What I did NOT like was the support built in to keep the counter from getting too hot while it was lying down. It was not adjustable in any way and hits your head as you are curling your hair. I had my hubby grind it down and now it’s ok. I like the curlsize and heat 👍🏼
