BUY THIS!
I can not say enough good things about this product! I have been training to do a rim to river hike in the Grand Canyon and my last training hike (18 miles) destroyed my feet. I had massive blisters all over and lost two nails. I bought this product right before the hike and didn't have a chance to test it out. The morning of our Grand Canyon hike I covered my feet in it and made it to the bottom of the canyon with ZERO issues. Cooled off in the river, reapplied the trail toes and put on fresh socks for the climb out and still not one single blister! This stuff is AMAZING

Use this for every run...you won't regret it!
Ultra runner and Soldier here. Let me just start by saying, I'm in pretty good shape, but a sporty lass, so there tends to be some rub when I am running where my sports bra contacts with my neck and arms. In the past I had rubbed myself raw on long events...then trail toes came into my life. It was a freaking godsend. So I started putting it where my bra chafed. Then I started using it on my feet during wet races. Then for ruck marches I put it everywhere that my ruck contacted. No blisters...not a one. In fact, I used it for my last 100 miler and didn't change my shoes or socks the whole time. Not one blister. So fast forward to my current deployment to the middle east. Things here are hot, sandy, and not really great for physical activity. Not a great place to have to do work let alone for someone who always wants to be outside stretching their legs. About a month ago I ordered another tub of this magical goop for a 26.2 mile ruck march. I had run out before a practice ruck a few weeks prior and came out a hot mess. My feet were tore up, and the worst part was all the sweat and dust had caused chafing right near my butt crack. Holy moly it was terrible. Getting in the shower was torture. I freaking screamed scarring half the base (okay, not half the base, but at least the gals in the showers near me). Talking to a battle buddy he had the same issue. Serious bum crack chafage. So I ordered more trail toes that day and prayed it would come in in time for the ruck. Being deployed things take a while to get here, so it was a close call. Well it came in the day before. I put it EVERYWHERE. Yes, in the offending area. He also did the same. Well, 26.2 miles later with a 40lb pack on my back everything was sore, but my bum crack was intact, and so was his. My feet were fine and dandy. Life was pretty good. Every day I thank my lucky stars for trail toes. It is a balm of the gods.

Very helpful
I recently completed a 55 mile loop hike with significant elevation, destroyed my feet. Couldn't walk straight for days. Picked this up based on reviews and did a 7 miler last week k issues. Completed a 15 two day hike yesterday, no issues. It's like a conditioner for your skin, not sure of the science and how that works, don't need to know. I just know it worked.

This stuff is awesome!!
I’ve done a lot of races including 3 Ironmans. I would find when my feet got wet, I was more prone to blisters. This past Ironman I lubed my feet up with Trail Toes during transition before the marathon. My feet were wet the entire run from soaking myself to stay cool. I DID NOT GET A SINGLE BLISTER. My feet were pristine at the end of the run. Will continue to use and recommend to everyone I know!!

Great Product!
I can't even begin to say how much I love this product. Everytime I travel somewhere and do a lot of walking, like New York or Disneyland, I get blisters on the bottoms of all of my toes. After the first day, I am miserable and it pretty much ruins my time. My daughter wanted to take a mother-daughter trip to Disneyland in California last October. I decided to check into different products runners use to prevent blisters. First of all, I discovered there are special Thorlo socks one can buy. They were pricey, $15.99 a pair, but I bought three pair. Next, I read about this product. I bought it and took it with me. I used it ALL over my feet each morning before I put on the socks. I also purchased a good pair of tennis shoes with good support. I did not have one single blister. It was amazing. We got to California on a Monday. We went to the park 6 days. Our husbands flew in for the weekend...and we had a great time. This was a huge help to me. I couldn't be happier. For years, I have worn plain socks with tennis shoes. That is fine for day to day activity...but for constant all-day walking, this product is amazing and protects your feet. I only used it once in the morning. That was all I needed. The combination of the socks and Trail Toe's did the job. This one jar will last a long time.

Works well
This product works very well, and is not as prone to hardening in colder weather as I’ve experienced with other products. However, with the recent $5 shipping charge, I’m switching to an alternative. That extra cost pushes the price up too high. There are competitors available for free shipping with similar product efficacy and a similar base price. Took off one star due to the reduced value for overall price.

Solved a lifetime of blister issues
I used to just accept that after a long stretch on the trail my feet would be thoroughly torn up. I'd go through several sheets of moleskin trying to patch up big ugly blisters. I started proactively using Trail Toes on my problem areas: first thing when putting on boots in the morning and one or two reapplications throughout the day.I just got back from two weeks in the Rockies averaging tens of miles per day, thousands of feet in elevation gain, over rough terrain, with full pack. I used nothing but Trail Toes (no athletic tape, no moleskin, no duct tape) on my feet. I had zero blisters. Zero!

This stuff is magic
I purchased this for a 4 day backpacking trip through the Grand Canyon and it kept my feet from getting any blisters. Highly recommend.
