Greek Traditional Golden Thyme Honey From Crete - 200g

I bought this for my son, who is a beekeeper. He loves it! He said it is true gourmet honey. I took a tiny taste, but that was all because most honey gives me hives (I know that sounds funny, but it's not a pun). What I tasted was delicious. This was a special gift in addition to the main graduation gift we bought my son, and I couldn't be more pleased. It was packed very well, and didn't take very long to arrive. I am so glad I found this and ordered it!

I am a bit lost with Thyme Honey...Twice I got some from Greece and it has a very basic (regular) honey taste. Then I got one from New Zealand and it has a very specific taste, close to Manuka Honey. Which one is the real one is now the question because I doubt Thyme honey can have such variations in taste...Apart from the above question, this honey taste good but the taste is a bit too standard for me.

This little bottle of honey is from the Heavens. It has a rich, delicious taste that is unlike honey from the States (which is typically wildflower honey). A friend of mine has been looking for thyme honey since they visited Crete. I bought it for them and they said this product tastes exactly like they remembered!!! I would highly recommend this product.

This is a fine honey, probably great for winter when mixed with hot tea and lemon, at least for me since I am not a fan of sweet things but very well know about the healing properties of honey. One or two spoons can get you through winter without any major colds, can heal dry lips, cracked cuticles or just sweeten your day. The flavor thyme in this kind is noticeable, or maybe I imagined it, which adds to the exotic flair and the joy to use it. Plus: It looks great on the brunch table when you have friends over. Now, that'a an idea, right?

I have been buying this honey since we were in Greece 3 years ago. It’s so delicious and nothing I’ve bought in the US compares. It can take a while to get here but it is more than worth the wait!

Delicious honey but be warned, it takes a long time to get from Greece to the USA. I ordered mine Oct. 19 and it arrived Dec. 5. Also keep in mind that 200 grams is just 7 ounces. So you may want to order more that one jar. The package arrived a bit worse for wear but it was well packed so no damage. I will definitely be ordering this again...Like today so the next jar arrives before I've finished the first. : )

Fantastic tasting honey. I like that the taste is so much fruitier than our Orange Blossom honey. I never liked honey before trying Greek honey! And this is one of the best brands I have tried. It is sent from Greece, though, so it takes a while for delivery. Just be patient, the taste is worth the wait!
