The Junsi X8 Lilo/LiPo/Life/NiMH/NiCD DC Battery Charger Features 8S Capabilities and Up to 1100W of Power and Up to 30 Amps of Charge Current.

I did not bought it for the RC hobby as I guess that is the target audience for this product. In my application it is used to charge a 7s 120Ah lithium battery (1200000 mAh in RC terms ) which is the hearth of my small solar system that powers my Radio shack .this battery is like a RC battery - but capacity wise it is about x1 000 larger , it requires balance chargingand a charger and for charging at 1C it means that i need to charge at 120A !!!! well , this is not real and was not expected by me from this charger . However , this charger is rated charging is 1100W which is one of the largest charging rated chargers in this price range .but in order to really to supply 1100w of charging it requires a power supply that outputs at least 32V !if you read the specs it has a 35A max input current , this is what dictates the power supply requirements, and this is very important to understand . lets say that i have a 12V 750W power supply that is capable to supply 62.5 A !!! does it means that i will be able to charge my battery at least at 750W which is way below the chargers 1100W capacity ? well , NO ! even that my power supply can deliver 62.5A the charger limits the input current to 35A so i can charge maximum at 420W instead of 750W . but if my power supply was 48V 1200W then it would need to deliver just 23A which is less than the 35A limit of the charger and then the charger will be able to charge at its maximum 1100W power . so if you buy this charger and plan to use it at its full 1100W capability - you need a proper power supply . I like the regenerative feature of this charger - this means that if instead of a power supply i will use my 7S 120Ah battery I can discharge smaller batteries at max rating of 30A without dissipating heat on resistors , what it does - it moves the capacity from the small battery (discharge) to the large battery and no energy is wasted as heat - this is a very neat feature. the balancing of this charger is also very neat and i can balance my battery at any voltage regardless of the state of charge so if i want to charge to 80% wich on my battery is 28V i can program this charger to charge to 28V and balance - this is great ! I enjoy this charger a lot especially during winter when I dont get enough Sun . I highly recommend it . it can do much more but my review is already to long :-)

This is an excellent Lithium battery charger. It charges, discharges and works as a very stable adjustable power supply.

Worked so awesome I bought a second but the day my new one arrived the first one's screen started flickering. Trying to get that resolved waiting on a reply. Will give it a 5 star after I get some assistance

Mine arrived DOA but I ordered another one from their website and it works well. Very powerful charger.

En julio pasado compré un iCharger X8 y después de algunos usos muestra un error y no puedo conectar junto la fuente de alimentación a la entrada y la batería a la salida porque hace una gran chispa, cuando conecto la fuente de alimentación se enciende normal, si desconecto la fuente de alimentación y conecto la batería solo en la salida presenta un error (InCon ON OFF ERROR) adjuntar imagen.
