Very versatile, high quality, great flavour
I bought these as I thought the distinct labels would add a point of difference to the otherwise uniform display that comprises the giant tinned tomato sculpture I have been building in secret at the bottom of my allotment. The tomatoes themselves are largely irrelevant to me; I am an artist, and tinned tomatoes are my medium. I am no more likely to taste the tomatoes as a painter is to drink paint, or a ceramicist is to throw wet clay into a sauce to serve as an accompaniment to pasta and slow-cooked meat. All that being said, my dang curiosity got the better of me with this purchase, and one evening, before I knew what I was doing, I had opened a can and was scooping the contents into my eager mouth. And so, to those wishing to buy this product for eating rather than for artistic endeavours, let me say that these tomatoes are the Daim Bar of tinned tomatoes: sweet and crisp and full of intense flavour. Please though, hold my words lightly; I may have purchased more tins of tomatoes that I can count, but I am by no means an expert in the subtleties of their taste, tinned or otherwise. As previously stated, I am merely a humble artist.

Yummy yum yums: love them and want more!
My OH had to really convince me that these were going into our shopping. Oh my goodness - where can I purchase these fresh?! They are the tastiest, sweetest, most delicious tomatoes I have ever eaten. They are that good!! Even better than any of the fresh tomatoes we have ever purchased. My OH is a real foodie so I am more than happy that he persuaded me for us to try these. If you want to make a tomato sauce (not ketchup) for a special meal then purchase these. They are worth it and they are delicious!

Not sure
They are very tasty but not sure they are good value for money. Where a tin of cheaper ones and some puree are just as good.

but worth every penny because of the superior flavor.
Stunning tast! So much nicer that the usual supermarket variety. I'm going to try and grow some of my own this year, but in the mean time have put in a regular order for these. A little more expensive that standard tinned Tomatoes, but worth every penny because of the superior flavor.

OK but not great. Poor value.
We have not tried this brand before but took a punt. Sadly we were quite disappointed by the quality. San Marzano should be bright red, sweet and flavourful. These are dull, and not at all sweet. They are OK tomatoes I guess, but I can get better ones in the supermarket for much, much less. At this price they should be excellent. We will stick to the well known yellow labelled ones in future.

These tinned tomatoes also contain salt.
I specifically ordered this product as the ingredients are listed on the given images as tomatoes and tomato juice. However, when I received the product, the ingredients also listed salt. I specifically did not want an item which contained salt hence why I had verified the ingredients on the image provided. Now stuck with 12 tins of tomatoes containing salt for which I have no use.

Too watery
This are the proper San Marzano. However, they are way more watery than others even after draining them. I will switch to some other San Marzano. Sorry...

Beyond compare...
You cannot get good fresh tomatoes out of season, and you cannot get better tinned-tomatoes than these. Much better than the chopped variety and regular plum tomatoes, these are tangy and delicious. Just put them in a bowl and squash them up, add some salt and it's a fabulous Pizza sauce, or cook up (but not for too long) for pasta sauces.
