Schleich Summergreen Elf House

I purchased this for my niece's 8th birthday along with one fairy/horse figure. I had previously purchased her several fairy/horse figures. She wanted to set it up immediately and went to get her other figures. She played with it for a long time. It is smaller than I had expected and for this price, there isn't much to it. But, my niece enjoys it, so it was worth it. I recommend this for girls who really like the fairy figurines!I know that technically, these are elves, but my niece thinks they're fairies. Really they could be either...

I can only give you a review as the purchaser. Was bigger than I thought it would be and that was great. As far as who it is intended for I won't know till Christmas. But the little boy in me would have this nice tree as part of my army's HQ with some additional Lego fortifications as backup.The girls will love this!!

It's well constructed and big enough to fit quite a few fairy figurines, but there's not much to it except for the swing. I suppose it will take some heavy duty imagination for the kids to play with this, as they did for Christmas when they opened it. But they haven't touched it since. It's overpriced for what you get.

it is as cool as you could imagine it would be. Built like a tank and simple design so your child actually uses their imagination.I hung rings from the ceiling so her fairies could fly above this last week and I haven't seen my daughter since...

My daughter loves the elf house. She spends hours playing with it and the other elfs we bought to go with it.

Summergreen works well with all the Schleich fantasy/Bayala series of figures. It is very durable, high quality hand painted, and has a lot of lovely detailing. In the bottom hair is a little grotto hidden behind overhanging vines. The middle level has a swing that can be used with the fairies that are purchased sitting on horses (they sit on the swing as perfectly as the horse) and then there is a top level. Flower decorations clip on to the sides.You could drop this down the stairs and it wouldn't break - made of soft molded vinyl-like plastic, it's made to grow with your child over the years.My 9 year old used the bottom level for the unicorn and pegasus, the middle level for the dark elves, and then the top level for the lighter elves. One of the fairies she bought riding a unicorn was placed on the swing.In all, a great purchase and one to grow. I'd much rather have this more expensive toy than several cheaper ones without the quality to last and look good.

This is fantastic. It's pretty large, which is hard to tell without any figurines near it. The plastic is sturdy, it was easy to assemble and the flowers (which I think look tacky) are easily removed but my 4 yr old likes it just fine with the flowers, but I only mention it in case an adult collector is concerned about how it looks. My daughter not only uses this with her elves/fairies, but she's also used it with her dinosaurs, and Monsters Inc figurines. You can fit several figurines on the top platform, which is the smallest area on the entire treehouse. This is a retired item so I highly recommend getting it before it's too late!
