This is the BEST sharpener for eye liners. I have many different styles and sizes of eye liner pencils, and not all fit in sharpeners, and some are very difficult to sharpen. This sharpener works on all of them, even the ones that seem like they are wrapped in heavy plastic. The sharpener also stays sharp for a long time and is easy to clean because the top comes off. I have had mine for a long time, and purchased two more as stocking stuffers for Christmas! This is a must-have!

Honestly, wasn't sure what to say about a sharpener, but I have to admit, I like it. Most of the ones I've used in the past made me keep away from pencils that need to be sharpened for years because it either breaks the product it just sharpened, or it finds a way to leave burs in the product. (If you're old school like me and still use the less than $1 eyeliner pencils, you'll probably know what I mean.) I haven't had that issue with this one. I do wish it had two of the same sized holes instead of the fat and skinny ones, but I see the need for others.

I bought this to sharpen my makeup pencils and it works well. I chose it because it has a cover. The only drawback is that although it has a cover, the sharpener itself is open so the shavings still fall out.

I have had many sharpeners.. all not sharpening well, or having to use many different sizes-- This one does it all! Very sharp.. love the 3 sizes (need to remove the insert on the large hole, to make it x tra large). This is the best I have tried!

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this one deserves it. First off, the shipping took foreeever - way longer than expected. When it finally arrived, I was excited to use it since it was supposed to replace my current sharpener (which I thought this would be better than). Big mistake. This sharpener absolutely ruined my eyeliner and lip liner pencils. It doesn’t sharpen evenly, keeps breaking the tips, and just chews up the pencil instead of making a clean point. I even tried a few different pencils thinking maybe it was me (or the pencil) - NOPE! Same terrible result every time. Long story short: I'M STILL USING THE OLD ONE! Save your money. This thing is a total waste and shouldn’t even be sold as a makeup sharpener.

This is the third time that I've purchased this particular sharpener. I use it to sharpen my kohl-type eyebrow pencil, which has a very soft center. Consequently, the tip breaks off OFTEN in the sharpener and it clogs up. The "reservoir" also fills very quickly and I have to dump it frequently. Because the top and bottom of the sharpener constantly fall off, I keep a rubber band wrapped around it to keep them on the sharpener. Now, with all of these (minor) issues, I still have found that this is the best sharpener for my eyebrow pencil. I have tried several others, but keep coming back to this one.
