DMCCharles Craft Irish Linen 28 Count 20"X24" Box, Tea-Dyed

When I ordered this I was a bit confused just hoping it was what I needed. The pattern I was doing called for 28 count linen. This said it was but when it arrived the packaging said Evenweave... my understanding is evenweave threads are all the same size thus why it is called evenweave while linen the threads are all different sizes. When I opened the packaging it looked like linen, all the threads where different sizes... so it worked for the project perfectly! They just need a better description. I am glad I just was brave and ordered it!

This isn't a box, it is actual nice Irish linen fabric, which I couldn't find locally in this size. It isn't that nasty stiff stuff you see in stores, it is nice and worthy of a time-consuming heirloom type project.

This linen is for a cross stitch sampler and as I have never used linen before in cross stitch there was a learning curve. But I love this linen as it is a nice color and has a nice hand to it. I have enjoyed working with it so far and expect to purchase it again for future projects.

The title of this item is a bit confusing: it is not a linen box, but a piece of even-weave linen, suitable for a sampler or similar project, that comes packed in a clear rectangular plastic container. It's nice-quality fabric at a good price.

Fabric weave not dense enough. Have had better linens for needlework.

Nice linen.....warm, beautiful color. I worked at a needlework shop for 13 years. I would recommend this linen.
