Costume Boots; Good fit, You get what you pay for. Would buy again if I were in a pinch.
I am in a financial pinch and sought out some cheap costume boots. I make chainmaille armor and needed black boots for my black stainless steel armor for the Renaissance festival. These fit the aesthetic I was looking for - medieval-ish with a knight/combat appeal without looking piratey. I wear a size 10US in most cases and have wider feet. The size 10-11 fit me fairly well with a bit of extra room, but that's what you get with stretch size costume boots. The material is fairly thin; it feels like it is durable but I could easily see the outer coating wearing off within 6months to a year with occasional use. The boots didn't look quite like the photo. The distressing seemed a bit too uniform and the spats sit far lower on the toe than I expected.Overall, these will work for what I need until I have the few hundred gather for some custom made leather ones. They are costume boots; that's important to keep in mind. I am size 10 US, 5'10" tall and 165 pounds with an average build.

Medium = US Size 9.5 with 1/2-1 inch to spare.
So the sizing chart link was titled Women's Sizes even though it said Men's boots(LOL). Anyway, I had no idea what size to pick so I went off of what other people had reviewed. Since I wear a 9.5 US, with slightly wider feet than the average person, I went ahead and got the medium boot size since it was recommended for US 9.5-10.5 if recalled correctly. The boot gaiter part barely fit my calf on the last hole of the top strap over my big calves, measuring in at 18.2 inches, but most of you probably have smaller calves so you should be good to go.Opening the box, the boot inside looked narrow but was surpisingly a good fit when I tried them on. It comes in 2 seperate pieces, 2 low cut side zippered boots and 2 boot gaiters. For being fake leather they seem decent for the price, but dont expect them to last for everyday wear and tear. I added insoles in mine. See my attached pics for details. Ignore the cheap camouflage table cover in the background(ha ha).

I ordered 10-11 M US and fit perfect no problem and had a little bit of room ...
I ordered 10-11 M US and fit perfect no problem and had a little bit of room so 11 would work. I personally am a 10.5....if your a ten wear thicker socks or double up, they will work too. Remember these are for suiting up that being said quality is better than average and they are pretty cool.I would think they would last more than a a few events. In fact would be worth spraying a coat of crep on them. crep protect works great. also wanted to see how comfortable so have been wearing last hour around house they are not bad in that department either. If the situation requires a long stint you could easily slide in a gel insole etc. the boots are a 2-part system, meaning each boot is two pieces. At first I was like "what" but actually works in favor because you can make modifications easier if needed.

Great boots!
I bought these for my renaissance outfit and must say, these look great!I was nervous about ordering because I wear a mens12 wide or 13 and was afraid they wouldnt fit. They actually fit my foot pretty well and are even fairly comfortable. The spat is removable. The boot itself goes just above the ankle and has a zipper on the side rather than laces. The spat is pretty adjustable and could be used on other boots if you wanted.

Look great, a little tight.
My only real compliant when it comes to these boots are how tight they are in the toes after you put a comfortable insole in them. I'm a size 14 or 15 (depending on the boot or shoe), and I use these boots for LARPing and Faires, so you kinda have to have extra cushion walking through the woods. I ended up having to cut down my insole to give myself more toe room, and I'm hoping that as I use these monthly, they're break in. They look nice and I've gotten some compliments on them.A few tips: It can be a little tricky buckling up by yourself. Easier with a friend. I find it best to leave the bottom buckle strapped even when removing and just sliding it off the boot.

Steampunk heaven
Very happy with these. Wish they had regular sizes instead of ranges, but they looked great!

Good boot for price
The straps on the gator might not hold up but that's the only concern I have so far. Wore it a pirate night at a local bar and so far it's comfortable. Looks nice and I'm happy so if it makes it through the Renaissance festival season I won't have any regrets buying again

True to Men’s Size but Replace the Insole with Your Own
Shoes say womens in certain descriptions but these are true to size men’s boots. I wear a 10&1/2 in most shoes and boots and these fit perfect. There is no support or cushion but I put a pair of insoles from gym shoes and they’re a lot better. I wouldn’t recommend them for Faires or long periods of being on your feet unless you replace the insoles. They look great and the material is also sturdy. Putting these to work for a renaissance Festivals this summer!

All for show and not for blow.
Had them under a month and the souls started to fall off. For the money that should not happen. Annoying though because they did look good.

Beautifully made with much better practical use than I thought ...
These boots arrived in a timely fashion and were exactly as the pictures showed. Beautifully made with much better practical use than I thought as well as the sleeve comes off entirely to have a very stylish ankle shoe. You will probably need something for the inside to cushion your foot though as it doesn't have that much support. They are a bit hard to buckle up but just takes some getting used to. This product was 110% worth the price.
