Awesome side dish!
I have been using this product for years and absolutely love it! I just put two or three tbsp. of butter spread in it after It's cooked, and it makes a wonderful side dish. It has a flavor similar to wheat cous cous, but the consistency is a little more chewy if you get a coarse grain. I like the #3 coarse grain the best, but also like the #2. You can add spices to liven it up if you want a more spicey flavor. Highly recommend this product.

Different but very good
This is #1 fine bulgar. I am more use to the heavier grain for tabouli. It does cook easily. I use double the water to grain. Boil the water, pour in the bulgar and let it sit. The taste is typical meaning salt, spices, olive oil and lemon. The texture is very different from the heavier grain but actually makes the eating better. I have only made tabouli, but am pleased with it. Perhaps more later when I make Kibbeh.

Made delicious tabouli!
I made fabulous tabouli with this bulgar. I didn’t prepare the bulgur according to directions. I got them to a boil but then turned off the heat and just covered and let stand for a half hour. This bulgar seemed very small grain to mrpe, though.

Perfect in every way
It came to about four cups and was perfect. I poured 8 cups of boiling water on it and it came out fluffy and tasted delicious. Made tabbouleh for a crowd of 90 people. Excellent!

BEETLE LARVAE IN BAG!!!!
Absolutely DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT!!! I used some of it and have had it in a completely SEALED container for several months. I went to use some today and there were hundreds of dead baby black beetles that hatched inside the container and I’m absolutely disgusted thinking that I ate beetle larvae before they hatched. Absolutely disgusting.
