Cut and worked great. I attached 1x2 along the edge 1x6 louvers for strength. Before this product each screw would split the 1x2 even when pre-drilled holes. This made it not split and sink in like a pro each time. Just be careful since it easy to sink it in to far because they cut so good.

This set works fine. I like the fact that you can change the drill bit when needed. The counter sink part is not so sharp that it drills down too quickly. Just apply a little pressure till you get the desired results you want.

Easy to use but don’t and cheap, like real cheap in fact too cheap,... I’m saying it’s bad steel, well no steel is bad steel unless it’s compromised but not for this application.steel was soo soft started drilling in pine 5 quarters thick Decking and within the first 7 counter sunk holes the bit I was using bent not broke mind you, bent almost 90 degrees it heated up only slightly and no longer had the structural integrity to hold up to pine.I needed cheap drill bits somethings I wouldn’t mind breaking, losing, or giving away at the end of the day and these bits couldn’t last the first 10 minutes avoid, if you have to buy cheap bits then go with a set of cheap black and decker (I dislike btw but cheap) and a stand alone counter sink bit but don’t buy these countersink bits it’s just not worth it

Although I was looking for the older style of countersink bits as they don't cut as wide a bore, these bits do give a very clean cut. But I do wish they cut a smaller hole, especially with the smaller drill bits. Overall these are a very nice set.

These came in bubble packaging with indents for each bit. tt was clear that either the package was not good enough for the weight of the bits or it had been opened and returned by another customer. The plastic was ripped and taped and the bits were all out of there grooves. once opened I reached for the smallest as I actually purchased for a project. chucked it up and pulled the drills trigger to see the bit wobble all over the place. thought I set it off-center but nope the bit was bent. pulled it out and took off the collar to roll the bit on the table and sure enough... Bent. tried the next size up and while not as bad it was also bent. these were a waste of money and straight trash.

Now for me a newbie in wood work this is a great set of tool to have, when doing finishing work, counter sink is good .

Works well and you can change out the drill bits. The case is not so great though. Would be a better kit with some sort of case.
