I believe the Lark 500 series is one of the most beautiful book series I have ever seen. The photos of the particular product, e.g., this book's Contemporary Earrings, are marvelous as is the artisan's creativity. The next book I purchased from AMAZON is contemporary necklaces, each and every one a jewel, pun intended. I highly recommend any one of the LARK BOOKS as I have purchased a number of them and every time I look through them I get new ideas and they are a total treat.

This book is inspiring, creative, fun and a must have for jewelry designers. It is packed with photos from a wide array of international jewelry designers. The designers use traditional materials as well as found objects in their work.If you are having a creative block in designing jewelry, this book will open the floodgates and you will be carried away with new ideas.This is one of my favorite Lark Jewelry books.

I can say that all of these catalogs are great. If you are interested in the subject, it will certainly attract your interest. I have always been a resource book for student life.

Arrived in good shape. As I expected, an interesting selection of avant-garde earrings in differing media.

The work and the images are spectacular. It is a real treat and I am savoring it. I am only looking at several pages a day, because I want to prolong my surprise and delight at the quality and creativity on each page.

For those who loved 1000 rings you will also I think love this. Its beautiful and with a vast array of earring styles, from wearable to artistic to practically sculpture. It is an inspiring coffee table book of inspiration. I was dissapointed with 500 bracelets, I thought that it was nowhere near as good as this and 1000 rings and 500 necklaces. I've yet to check out 500 brooches. A lovely series that lark has done for inspiring jewellery makers with ideas.

A good chunky book, filled with excellent close up photos of earrings made by a huge selection of jewellers. Easy to see how many of them are constructed, so lots of ideas for jewellers to incorporate some of the techniques into their own work.

I have bought several jewellery making books on Amazon and I have been very happy with each and every one of them. This one is no exception. Highly recommend it.
