A solid record crate
It has a nice cloth coating on the inside. The walls of the crate are not super thick, but you don't want it so thick that it makes it really heavy. The lid does come completely off. Initially, I didn't like that part, but it actually help to remove the lid completely to add or go through your records. All in all, a very good record crate.

Good all purpose records case
It was what I had expected. I use it in an overseas flight and the records travelled very secure.
