Maybe don't buy it just for black coffee.
Flavor wise, it's very subtle. But its fragrance is super good! It smells like roasted hazelnut and has a cake/cookie like aroma. I tried it with black coffee by putting like 10 drops of the stuff and the flavor notes were not as pronounced as I would have hoped. It was not like the expensive coffee you'd get from a coffee shop. That being said, maybe my preparation method was flawed. It feels like it would work better with things that have more body to them, for example in preparation of cakes or thick milkshakes. I'll test them out at a later date and I'll update my review if I find any changes. Overall, maybe don't buy this just for black coffee. Otherwise I think it would be wonderful for baked products. Edit: It actually is really good when made with Dalgona Coffee and milkshake. Just 4-5 drops brings out a really good flavor. Changing my rating from 3 to 5.

Don’t buy it, it’s very high on chemical smell and taste
Doesn’t taste or smell like hazelnut. Instead it’s some very weird chemical smell. I got the caramel essence from the same brand and that is really good. But this hazelnut one is absolutely horrible

Good
The scent is much like hazelnut and 2-3 drops are good enough. It doesn't add much to the flavour of the food.

This is a staple in my kitchen
Perfect no sugar hazelnut essence / flavouring. A couple of drops in my black coffee in the morning, makes my day. I will keep on buying it!

A good substitute to natural hazelnut flavour
A good substitute to natural hazelnut flavour. Could be better. Compared to natural hazelnut this essence has lesser nutty overtones though it retains the warmth. The scent has Ossoro's typical base related smell that can put some people like me a bit off. Strongly recommend to test the quantity to be added by experimenting with a glass of milk. My estimate is to use it in smaller proportion compared to Ossoro's bourbon Vanilla essesnse. So far I tried it with milk shakes and cold brewed coffee. So this review is not applicable to baking uses. Overall, try this out instead of costlier options and you may find it just good enough for your taste!
