Best product if you know how to use it
The media could not be loaded. I am attaching a video of cleaning the litter because it seems most people had trouble cleaning the litter. And it actually quite easy. And switching to this from clumping has made my life easier, and my home smell better. Hope this helps.Pros:-No smell. I mean it. I have three adult cats who all use the same litter box. With clumping litter, everyday cleaning was dreadful, because of the smell. This pine litter has a lovely natural smell of pine wood.-Very good absorbency.-Eco friendly.- Easy to clean. Yes. Even though it does not clump, it's actually easy to clean if you know how. So, the thing is, pine wood litter becomes like wood dust when it absorbs water from urine or fecal matter of the cats. You need to clean the poop every day. And once in a week, you should also clean out this dust. It seems that many people find it confusing how to do it. Here is a very easy and cheap hack. Get one of those big jhari that are used for deep frying in oil. And just sieve the dust out into your garbage pan. The unused litter pellets will sit on top of the jhari, and just put them back into the litter box again. And you are done. And the good thing about using a jhari is that, they are actually much more sturdier than your average cat litter scoop, and cheaper too.

A life changing product but expensive
This is a game changer. No more sticky litter clay on the floor. And no more bad odour! The price has increased by a 100 rupees so not happy about that.

This really worked well for me
I had been searching for some eco-friendly option as cat litter. Bentonite based clay litter only ends up at the landfill. I was happy to learn of pine litter but it is still a long way of from being available regularly in India. I tried this product after trying Okoplus clumping cat litter which ironically didn't clump well at all. Coming from that disappointment, using Emily Cat Litter was a relief.1. I spent 5-10 minutes cleaning max compared to 25 minutes that it took me to clean the Okoplus litter box.2. The litter clumps well, and the pellets don't break down easily like Okoplus. This means the potty doesn't spread as easily.3. Smells like pine, and covers the odor from feces just fine.4. Organic. Can be composted. As of now the price is a bit high for 5 kg pack, but if there is a demand for it in India, pine litter can be made more available. The easiest way to increase the demand is to keep searching for it in Amazon. Once Amazon knows it is in demand, Amazon contacts the sellers. The more the sellers, the more the probability of the price coming down.

Emily pets pine wood cat litter
Emily Pine wood cat litter is good in absorbence but too dusty and odour obsorbance is good.Non sticky to container not like bentonite cat litter. Not easy to clean but better than bentonite.Pine cat litter too costly but okay.

My cat doesn’t like it.
Ordered pine after hearing average reviews from other cat lovers. I thought it will help with odor and the clumping and sticking at the bottom issues with other litters available. But boy. My cat didn’t even step on this. I had to mix it with normal litter for him to come and pee in the box.Now. The absorption is good. Not denying it. But there is so much of it wasted. It doesn’t get scooped like the normal litter and hence you end up taking out the non used ones too.

Ordinary Woodpellets Not Litter
You cannot call this wood litter as these are basic wood pellets that are unscented. Getting my 1.5 year old cat used to this after lifelong use of clay litter was a big task but she did successfully transition to it within 3 days. About the pellets, quantity as described in the order was received, the pellets absorb cat pee amazingly, as all you can smell after the cat pees is fresh sawdust, poop however takes some time to become odourless in the pellets and I prefer to scoop it out immediately. Can be flushed down the toilet without any hiccups if the U-bend of your toilet is wide enough. The only sad part about the litter is that it isn’t litter it’s just wood pellets repackaged as litter, you’d get a way better deal buying 10kg of these for Rs. 600 in Amazon itself under the barbecue wood fire tab.How did I transition my 1.5 year old cat - My cat is fairly young, and hence not set in her ways enough, we tried teaching her to use the toilet but she loathed it and turns out she was quite old to stop using the litter box entirely and hence I was skeptical about making her use the wood litter. Day 1 I cleared out the entire litter box of old clay litter, and washed the litter box with bleach, one of her fave smells. Then filled it with wood litter. My cat refused to enter the litter box to do her business. Therefore I removed the top lid (this is an enter from above litter box), coaxed her into the litter box, gave lots of pets and kisses and held one of her front paws and did the digging motion for her, after 5-10mins of coaxing and cajoling, she peed in it, I immediately followed it with her favourite bar treat, repeated the process for her while pooping, and stopped doing the same on the third day.If your cat is extremely adamant start with Okoplus which is broken wood pellets plus shavings and then switch to whole wood pellets.

Misleading: it looks like wood but is not pine.
I had run out of cat litter and I ordered this because it would be delivered quickly. I fact I ordered two packs. The delivery was fast but sadly, the product does not smell anything like pinewood or even wood. So far I have tried the bentonite based litter, I ve tried Oko plus, I've even tried recycled paper pellets for a more eco friendly option.I loved the pine wood best of all for all the reasons that other users have mentioned. But in addition, it masks all the smells naturally and smells of fresh pine every time I refresh the litter tray. When I saw the packet, I was a bit suspicious because it said wood litter and not pine wood and when I opened it, it smelled nothing like the pine wood litter i have used previously. This is more expensive as well. I am as fussy about smells as my cats and dogs (I have many). But more importantly, the product title on Amazon seems misleading.I checked the image on Amazon. The title says pine wood but the image does not.So I am going to return the second pack and see if I can find something better.
