Italeri 2781 1:48 - F-4j Phantom II

The molds of this F-4J Phantom kit were revised several years ago by Italeri to include recessed (engraved) panel lines improving the purchase quality of this kit and bringing it up-to-date with what many aircraft modelers want. It has a basic cockpit with instrument panels and consoles provided with decals and some raised detail so you have options. The shape of the fuselage and wings are correct and is a nice out of the box model to build. Engine inlet ductings are not provided, but if these are desired an aftermarket set could be purchased.There are four decal options providing:*F4J of USMC Fighter/Attack Squadron VMFA-333 "Shamrocks" aboard the USS Nimitz, 1975*F4J of USN Fighter Squadron VF-114 "Aardvarks" aboard USS Kitty Hawk May , 1972*F4J of USN Fighter Squadron VF-84 "Jolly Rogers" USS Franklin D. Roosevelt, 1975*F4J of Royal Air Force No. 74 Squadron "Tigers" NATO Tiger Meet 1988.All stencils used on the aircraft are included, providing a very comprehensive set of markings to finish the model. Glue/cement and paint are not included and must be provided by the kit builder.
