This is the second time I bought TygerAuto running boards ( got a new truck that needed these). They are sturdy and look good. Best part is they are completely functional. The instructions are great; there are also YouTube videos that show the process. Should be super easy. I dropped it to 4 stars for this product because it does not attach to a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic without modifying the default under-mount holes. I had to use a RotoZip angle-grinder to make the hole slightly bigger. I just cut along the vertical sides of the existing factory hole about 3/4-1 inch on each side making an "H" shape and bent the metal out to slide in the bracket then pounded it back flat when attached. Overall, extremely happy with this set.

Overall, I thought this was going to be an easy process. The biggest problem is the "small" holes on 4 of the 6 brackets did not line up with the pinch welds. No way, no how were those small bolts going through the bracket and the pinch welds. Lots of donations to the swear jar. I checked and rechecked and made sure I had the brackets in the right place and did. I was left with two choices; oval out the small holes bigger in the brackets, or drill into my brand new 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 pinch welds, a solution that was 50/50 at best. Because the brackets are made so well, making the oval holes bigger was not easy. I elected to only do the end brackets and left the small bolts out of the middle brackets. I might remove them later and redo them, but it was well over 100 degrees here and I was fed up with the project. They look very nice and are sturdy despite the missing bolts in the middle brackets. I don't recommend these for a Dodge 2500 2018 or newer unless you know what your doing mod wise or you pay to have them professionally installed.

The company needs some new technical writers for the instruction sheets.Theirs's is one of the worst I have ever seen.

Just installed the in March of 2020 and they have fixed the instructions regarding the bracket labels! No issues at all installing the brackets in the correct location the first time! Overall for the 5" wide SS version anyway.,SOME cutting of corners are going on to keep the price down though....VERY sturdy and running boards themselves are a good quality stainless steel. Installation brackets are very thick but coating is questionable. I doubt they are galvanized underneath and WILL rust! The other problem is the quality of the bolts supplied. They are not galvanized and guarantied to rust. They can easily be replaced though so no problem there.I like how the bottom of the running boards are enclosed. Mud, salt and snow won't collect inside the running board. Nice design.The plastic caps that cover the metal brackets look very nice but are not held on by a thin center section which will probable break off the first time snow or mud gets packed into them.Would I buy them again, For the price and sturdiness , YUP. Great price for what you get.

They look great. Install instructions could be clearer. Was missing 2 lock washers, went and got them, finished the job and super pleased with sturdiness and style. Now my passengers have no trouble getting in my truck!

Very nice boards in quality, however had few minor scrapes on mounts that black touch up paint took care of. One fairly significant thing is on 2019 classic as others mentioned holes do not line up for bottom nuts/bolts. This caused some drilling as well as not an even spacing for middle bracket. Middle has a bit of of a bump out. Maybe 1/4 inch not major but worth mentioning. Those reasons are why 4 stars, they are high quality nice boards though.

This product is worth every penny. It is very expensive but the engineering and materials are heavy duty. No flex once this was installed. The biggest issue I have is the instructions. A video demo would have made the installation much easier to finish. If you kind of want this, buy it. You won’t be disappointed.
