Great nonstick pan, edit* coating came off easily
**UPDATE at bottomHowdy there! This pan is a good little tool to add to the kitchen.I use this pan for cooking at camp. However I’d use it in my kitchen too.The grill lines are nice for cooking bacon or sausage. It allows the grease to get under the meat and keep it juicy.Pan doesn’t stick or have any sort of strange flavor that’s left on your food.I suggest before your first use to take it to heat and boil a bit of water after washing to kill any bacteria it may have from storage. This is a nice little pan and I recommend it. Beats my pans in the kitchen. So I went to grill up a sammich with this pan last night. I use silicone soft spatulas for cooking, nothing abrasive and yet when I went to clean the pan I have a gouge on the nonstick coating. It came off with little to no effort. I got the pan real hot when I went to char my sammich and I guess with high heat the coating comes off real easily. So buyer be warned if you’re cooking high heat then the coating may come off like mine did. Attached is a picture showing the result. I’ll take off three stars for this.

Good grill, not great grill
I like this grill pan, but my cast iron grill pan is better. I have a big 2 burner cast iron grill pan, and I love the way it cooks things, but I hate cleaning it. I also am constantly frustrated by things sticking to the raised grill bits. This grill pan solves those 2 issues, it is easy to clean and it is definitely non stick. But it is not without issues of its own. The ridges on the bottom of the pan mean that the ridges (which you are cooking on) don't get as hot as the bottom of the pan. The heat conduction is not ideal, and it doesn't cook as evenly as my cast iron pan. That being said, if you pay attention to what you are doing it does a decent enough job. The non stick coating is very convenient. It is a good size to cook dinner for a family of 4. The color choice of the enamel and handle reminds me of something straight out of the 60's. The handle is smooth.. almost too smooth. This pan is a good alternative for grilling when the weather isn't ideal for a barbeque. It is also great for things like delicate fish that have a tendency to dissentigrate on the barbeque but that taste ever so delicious when grilled.

Nice pan for grilling everything from chicken to veggie burgers.
Nice pan for grilling. I used it quite a few times now. I think that it actually improves the taste of my typically lame tasting veggie burgers. And that's without me adding anything to doctor them up. I would like to try a saute pan from this brand because I think I would get a lot more use out of it.Sides are kinda shallow so careful when cooking a steak and the juices build up or the little hot droplets you get when cooking meat hit your hands while cooking because you could get burned.I made grilled chicken for my boyfriend a few times using this pan and he said it was evenly cooked thru and moist. Its very light weight. Surprisingly light weight actually. Not sure I would be willing to spend the money on it. But, keep in mind I am not a connossier of cookware so this could be fabulous by someone elses more knowledgable standards but for me, it's just slightly above average.I hope my humble opinion has helped you in some way.Thank you for reading.

non stick-all sorts of cooked on food gunk just slid off, handle of hot pan is touchable, shallow
We have a gas stove top and use cast iron pots and pans, so I already have a bias toward those, but I do enjoy this pan so far but with a couple reservations.I have a few non cast iron items I like to use on occasion when I want to keep it simple, or try something different. This grill pan allowed me both. This pan was used for a few dishes. It is fairly shallow, but I noticed that the sides heated up, and I was able to layer foods on top and kinda get a one pot meal going- even though it isn't intended for that. For example, I cooked some beef strips, then added in some vegetables and allowed them kinda steam through, then stirred in some fat Udon noodles and hoison sauce. Then to use the pan more appropriately, on another night, it was to try "grilling" boneless porkchops and another night, chicken. Soon, I will try just vegetables. Everything cooked fine, and as far as I could tell, evenly. I used my largest output burner and kept it on medium low. What I liked best is that nothing stuck. I thought for sure I was going to have a problem when I saw the hoison sauce all reduced and gummed up in the pan- but it just slid off. I really only had to wipe the pans to clean them. Of course, I did start, as indicated in the directions with wiping a little bit of oil in the pan.The other feature I noticed- is that the handle is indeed heat resistant. I didn't need a pot holder. I do like that over my cast iron pans, where they are always as hot as the cooking surface. So with the sides being a bit shallow, I would say they are still ok for "grilling". It does brown some parts distinctly over others, but not in a clear grill mark pattern (see pics). The part I have reservations about is the grooves, or rather, rounded raised areas. There isn't much of a dip/grooves for the drippings (unless poured off). So for that, I think the pan is ok for cooking, but depending on how fatty your food, you may need to drain often. So far I haven't had to deal with that. While the food cooked evenly, I have desperately wanted to put a lid over the food. I often like to trap the heat to move things along. For the price, a lid would have been a nice addition.I would like this pan a whole lot more if it was oven safe. If for some reason it is, and I missed it, then my mistake. But I don't see it mentioned anywhere. I will basically be sticking with my cast iron pans for most things, but will use this for quick, easy cooking. If I learn anything new, or try something different, I will be back to update this review. Take care :)(edit: added pics for "grill" marks on boneless chickenEdit#2 I have been using this pan for nearly everything, including making a quick fried egg. I happened to have a lid that fits perfectly on this and it seems to be my go-to pan for most stuff, whether for grill marks or just to cook something with ease.. So my update is to say that it is now May 2021, and it is only now beginning to lose the non stick coating. I am considering another purchase. Not bad for nearly 1.5 years of regular use. Upping to 5 stars because at no point have I had any issue with this pan.
