DapperLads Little Boys' Solid Color Banded Satin Bow Ties/Bowties

Ok, so let's start with the positives. The fabric in the bow tie seems to be of a decent quality for the price, it doesn't look cheap like I was worried about. Also, the plum purple is exactly the color shown in the stock photo. I really can't speak to the tie's durability as I just received it in the mail, but it seems like it will hold together well enough. Now for the negative... The tie I received is much larger than the advertised 3.5/4 inches (depending on where you look in the description). It is in actuality over 5" long. After looking through other reviewers who complained that the tie was too small (the described 3.5 inches), I have come to the conclusion that this seller must sell two different ties, one for adults and one for children. The people filling the orders in China must not pay very much attention to which link their customers ordered from (adult tie or kid tie). So, as long as you don't mind gambling on which size you are going to get, I'd say this is the tie for you. As for me, I'm not sure what I am going to do with a tie that makes my son look like the next act in the three ring circus...

This bow tie worked fine for our little one. At four, he's small, and needed the tie adjusted quite finely. It dipped a bit and never really held shape, because it had to be adjusted so tightly to fit him well. That said, the color was brilliant, even, and the fabric was crisp and well-fashioned into the bow and the neck strap holding it in place. As long as he's intrigued by wearing it, our little guy can keep this in his wardrobe for a few years.It's a good choice when you need a quick, simple dress solution for a little guy. I'd definitely buy other colors from this company.

I purchased two of these - one in red and one in royal blue, each from a different seller. The royal blue came first and was nice enough, simple, and fit my almost-two-year-old. The red came this week and it is more orange-colored, and the bow portion is much smaller than the royal blue tie. I also found it to be a bit too large in the neck for my 4-year-old. For the price, they will work for the event, but I would not purchase again.There is no consistency in the product, at least across sellers.

The quality on this tie is great, it has a nice sheen to it. The shipping was prompt and the price was great. Unfortunately for us, it is too small. It should be listed as a LITTLE boys tie. This tie would work for a toddler to a 6-7 year old, but not a 9-10 year old. There is plenty of band to accommodate a large neck, but the bow-tie is small to merit that much leeway.

I ordered the navy bowtie and am generally happy although it is truly 4" side to side, I'm not sure the 2-8 age range is quite accurate. This is small for my son who is 6 years old. There is no way this would work for an 8 year old! I don't really like the hook closure either, it's not a snap clip as I was hoping for.

Wow, I can't believe how high quality this is for that price. It wasn't too small as other reviews indicated. It's adjustable for any neck size. Delivery is long but it comes from China. When I followed up for delivery estimate they provided one and it came a week earlier that expected. Great deal! My four year old wore it for a wedding. Make sure you order it with enough time!

I ordered this for the two ring bearers in my wedding. One is a two year old and one is a three year old, and the bow ties for great! The neckline adjusted enough to fit around my thirteen year old usher too, but the bow tie was not proportional to his body. I'm perfectly happy with the ties for the little boys! The color is the most perfect shade of orange. It is not "Halloween" orange, instead it is more of a peach sunset orange.

Really cute bow tie and looked great on my toddler after an adjustment. I cut off the straps that go around the collar (the clasp kept opening). I then got a little girls barrette clip and pushed it through the back of the bow tie to make it a clip on.
