Great Semi-Light Weight Wheelchair
It works great considering the inexpensive price, the light weight and its smaller frame. I purchased this chair thinking my dad would use it every once in a while when he is having a bad walking day with the walker. He has become more infirm recently and we are using this wheelchair daily. It is holding up really well to packing it up & putting it in & out of the van. We take him to the store and short walks in it and it works great. I am very impressed so far. We also use a Medline Gel Seat to make it more comfortable for sitting for long periods of time.

Loving It
It arrived today on September 3rd. I ordered it September 1 so it shipped very fast to California. It told me I would only get it after September 8. It was mostly put together. I just had to add arm rests and foot holders. The wheels are very easy to manuever. I am also a very butt person and it had lots of extra room and was very comfortable. I also had my kids sit on it with me and it fit all of us. I also tested it through standard doors and it had a very extra inches on all sides. It is hard to push in a grassy area but on cement and carpet it worked great.

Several unexpected features
This chair is exactly as described. The seat is the wider width the arms removable. It was a nice surprise that the height of the legs was adjustable. That's not something I've had with my other wheelchairs. My roommate said it pushed beautifully. I was also surprised at how light it was for her to put into the trunk. I was worried that the wider size would make it take up more room. While those were some pleasant surprises there were also some unpleasant ones. The wheels are not the rubber type I'm used to. The outside wheel is more along the line of hard plasticy rubber then the bouncier rubber in most chairs. It picked up a lot more gunk off the ground and made self propelling harder. The feet are also plastic that I'm very worried about putting to much weight on because I'm pretty sure it will break. Lastly the seat was shorter then most wheelchairs. While it's longer the seat itself is a couple of inches shorter then any of my old ones meaning I can't really lean forward to put weight on my thighs it barely reaches the top of them. All of that said for the price this wheelchair is it's well worth the money. I don't regret buying it at all. I've looked on craigslist and this was less expensive then most of the chairs on there. I have no plans to buy another one anytime soon. I'm only in my chair part time and have an electric one I use when I can so I'm not sure how this would do for someone who is wheelchair dependant but for what I need it for it's perfect.

Great value for a sturdy and comfortable wheelchair
This is a great wheelchair. Very comfortable and truly sturdy. I’m recovering from surgery where a wheelchair is needed for almost 3 months. The one from the rental company did not feel secure and did not fully lock. I bought this one equal to the rental price of 2 months. Well worth it. Easy rollout of box and just pop open. Fits easily through kitchen door which is smaller in my 30 year old house. Nice brakes and very secure.

Look at how the wheels attach!
Ok. Look at the front wheels. There's a fork like the front fork on a bicycle that connects directly into the bottom of the frame tube. Now look at another brand where the front wheels plug into what looks like a little pod that is welded onto the side of the frame. There's a LOT of reviews on all brands that say the welds are prone to breaking and the front wheels come off if you hit a bump or obstruction at any amount of speed with the weight of a person in the chair. These wheels go straight into the frame. This chair is sturdy and well built. I searched a very long time and settled on this one and am very pleased with it.

Not what we hoped for
I ordered this chair specifically to take on vacation with my family. I have a daughter with a disability and it would have been more expensive to rent a wheelchair at our destination, so decided to buy this one and fly with it. It was fine as long as we were at the airport (smooth ground) but once we were outside, any slight crack in the sidewalk, street or even in the hotel, she was thrown forward as the wheel would catch. The right, front, wheel was catching on a part of the frame because that wheel had gouges in it. This wheelchair came pretty much put together so it wasn't something we did wrong. I did contact Medline when we returned and told them of the problem. They have taken care of the issue so that's good. It was just too bad that it had to happen in the first place. Thankfully the hotel we stayed at, after asking their maintenance man for help 3 times, let us borrow one they had for the balance of our stay. The hotel actually saved what was left of our vacation.

Good wheelchair, especially for light or occasional use.
First, let me say that evenb though I'm giving the product 5 stars, I hate that I've had to use a wheelchair. Being sick kind ofj gives me a bad attitude, I guess. Nevertheless, in order to get through the last year, I've had to use the chair quite a bit. I originally bought a Drive chair but when I tried it out in my kitchen, it felt like it was going to fall apart. I couldn't imagine the chair on pavement. So I returned it and foiund this one, which was less money and a lot more secure. It was also roomier and much more comfortable to sit in and to push. The chair is not made for off-roading, but it sure has done the job for the last year. If you are looking for a heavy-duty, full-time use chair for a heavy person, this may not work. But for occasional or temporary use, this is an excellent choice.

Quality Wheelchair for a decent price
Wheelchair was even better than I expected for the price. It is comfortable and easy for my wife to use with her severe spinal problems. The chair is very maneuverable, rolls nicely and is easy to get in/out of.Definitely worth buying.

Good quality, good price!
I have Fibromyalgia and need a wheelchair sometimes if I want to go to the mall, the library, the park, ... I was looking for something affordable that someone could easily push me and feel comfortable enough. My sister was able to build it easily and quickly. It folds well and fits into different cars. It’s not too heavy to carry around. It is easy to manoeuvre on carpet, outside, at the mal, ...I have purchase a cushion to help myself be extra comfortable, and I don’t feel bumps or anything. It works really well for me. The only thing is that the handles can be a little uncomfortable if the person has to push you up a hill, so I might add protection there for extra comfort. It can be a little tricky for me to fold it on my own (lack of strength and a lot of pain) but for someone else, lifting it and folding it seems easy enough.I am very satisfied with the quality of this product! It works better than I even expected considering the price.

Nice chair
I am really happy with this wheelchair. I have chronic pain and don't need to use a wheelchair all the time, but if I ever leave the house and need to go anywhere, I bring my wheelchair with me.There is pretty much no set up required. The only thing you need to do is attach the foot rests which can be put on or taken off with the click of a button. The chair is comfortable enough, if I was in a wheelchair full time I would want one that is more comfortable, it this is fine for me.It doesn't come with a bag on the back, the arm rests are a fabric material. The chair is easily pushed by someone or you can drive it yourself with the wheels.I am really happy with this chair.
