Durable but stinky!
I used these sandals all summer long, every day, walking at least 10 miles per day. They are durable, and very comfortable (no blisters, no discomfort whatsoever). But they stink. Because they make your feet sweat, and there is no way to take the smell out. The only velcro that I use to open and close them is deteriorating too.The shape of the front part is also ugly, meant to protect your toes while you hike (tested, and they work), but too long for the rest of the foot, making them look weird. Overall for the price a good investment for sure.

Love them, Took the Hiking in Hawaii on our Honeymoon and they were Perfect
Bought them to wear as hiking sandals on our honeymoon to Hawaii and they worked perfectly. They're lighter than boots to travel with, they're obviously more breathable because they're open toed. Perfect for hiking through all the trails we took, even the muddy, slippery, rocky and dusty hikes. Walked through a couple of streams with them and they dried off quickly after. They're a little long but width is great. I'm a 9.5 and I bought a size 9.

Great shoe, didn't last long
These shoes are very comfortable and affordable, but do not last long. We've had these for 5-6 months and the straps are almost worthless at this point. They have separated and the velcro is worn out around the ankle. Teva is more expensive but if I have to buy two pair for the season, it ends up being the same price or even more expensive 🤷. My son doesn't care about brand name so these were great, but he isn't very hard on shoes so I would expect the sandals to last a whole summer season.

Great shoes for price
I wear these mostly while swimming and boating, they are great shoes for that purpose. Very lightweight, even when wet. They also have a decent amount of tread on them for climbing cliffs or bridges to jump from. The only things I dislike are the ugly pattern and the length of the straps. I bought the size that all my other shoes are in, and they were definitely bigger than expected. There is a lot of strap hanging off the sides when I tighten them all the way. I would try a size or so smaller than usual if you like your shoes to be tight to your feet.

Bought these for my husband and son for the summer - great deal on sandals!
I bought these sandals for my husband and son to replace their worn-out sandals. They are almost like Tevas in the way they are configured, and the sandals are very comfortable to wear for them both. I have not heard one complaint from them about the sandals, and as a result, I would recommend them to others.

Decent hiking sandal for my wide feet
I normally wear a size 11 4E mens shoe and I’ve tried other brand hiking sandals, but they were too narrow. I read the reviews and the Q&A for these and decided to take a chance. The good news is that these sandals run a bit large, and based on the reviews I actually ordered a size 10. Pleasant surprise, they fit me perfectly. I am very pleased. My only reason for giving only 4 stars is that the Velcro straps have exposed the Velcro hooks and not the fuzzy loops. Which means if I brush against something fuzzy, my sandals grab it. Lol. Silly complaint, I know.

Run Long & Narrow but Comfy... Complicated.
This is a 24hr review. So keep in mind that I only wore these for around 14hrs but I tried to put them through their paces.Received these yesterday along with a brand new pair of Teva Hurricane XLT2s specifically as a benchmark for comparison. The Good:•Look great! Ordered the Maya brown (Tevas are black in the pic), very nice•Surprisingly comfy seeing as they are too narrow for my wide feet•Padded straps & anchor points•Nice, long straps. My legs/ankles & feet are very thick but there's still plenty of strap left for adjustmentsThe Bad:•Run narrow & long as compared to all my other sandals especially the Tevas I'm comparing them to•Velcro on ankle strap is a tad too wide, meaning it protrudes beyond that comfy padded strap & may cause some irritatation when trekkingSo, in the 14hrs that I wore these yesterday they went through a lot:Walking on hardwood, flat lawn, moderate trails, muddy slopes, streets with hills, etc.DrivingBasketball- because why notHeavy lifting - some lumber, fallen limbs, yard waste, & 50lb animal feed bagsNow that that's all laid out...they performed really well. Surprisingly well even.I really liked how my heel never shifted. That's awesome! On a negative note, the padded straps that were comfy for walking began to cause hot spots while working & hiking but again my parts are thick so maybe not a problem for most people.Arch support is noticeable. I'm not a fan but some people are & others actually need it. Your call.Toe box is much more narrow than that of the Teva Hurrican XLT2. To get the straps secure it crushed my little toe. See pic. Also, the anchor points for the toe straps are too far forward IMO causing the strap to push my little toe onto the other but my toes are short so may not affect others. See pic.Water capability - grippy outsole, slightly less grippy than Tevas but the footbed was slightly MORE grippy than the Tevas. Interesting. What's more important to you?Your foot not slipping within your sandal or your sandal not slipping on what you're walking on?Either way the grip won't let you down unless you're on slick moss or algae. An offhand thing that I HATE in sandals is noise. Some people don't care or they accept that it might happen but I can't stand shoe/sandal squeak.Happy to say that the Atika sandals did not make noise even when under load, uphill when there was a lot of tension on the straps!*The Tevas DID have sandal squeak 😕Conclusion:If you have regular width or narrow feet & like arch support then these are a great value buy. No question. If you have wider than "regular" width feet it could be hit or miss.Atika is very close to producing a sandal that could sweep Teva, Keen, & the other expensive brands. They seem pretty darn nice but just need a bit of fine tuning & maybe an offering for wide feet.Durability is still in question as this was only 1 day of testing but I'll try to update at the 1yr mark or when something breaks.

Buenas sandalias
