Yes but match the size of the rod to what you are going after, 30-50 lbs or 50-80 lbs. These are great rods for the money.

Can this be used on open face reel

It can but "spincasters or open-face reels" don't cast very well with the roller guides. I would go with another rod if you are going to be casting b

Is it normal for my reel to not line up with the rollers. It is because of the insert for the reel to keep it in place makes it look messed up.

if it is two pieces like mine the first roller should be lined up and second piece can be rotated to line up with the first. they fit tight so line them up before you push it all the way in. it took me a few tries to get them right.
